Very sharp and pleased
Excellent knife so far. For the price it’s great. Need sharpening frequently during the butchering process but I touched my knuckle when butchering a deer and it sliced me up with zero effort.

My birthday gift to me
These knives are amazing and very sharp. I love everything about them. The only thing is i do with that that bag was better quality. The knives are already cutting through it. They are evenly weighted and fit in my hand like its an extension of me.

So far so good.
I've only ever had European style knives. I bought these mostly because I'm told they are wicked sharp, keep an edge and they come with a travel tote. I live abroad and we go somewhat frequently to the coast to an airBNB with a kitchen. The knives and other gear in a rental tend to suck for someone who likes too cook. Having an easy tote with the knives I need sounded great. Got to use them today. I don't know how long the edge will stay, and I'll probably have to figure out how to sharpen, but I normally have to use a bread knife for tomatoes and, obviously, bread. I pulled out the chefs knife (carefully, I cut myself pretty good the first time I pulled it out of the cardboard sheath it came in) and it just sliced through french bread with zero sawing and went through a tomato like it was softened butter. We'll see if it holds, but so far so good. I'm told they are lighter, which may be true, I've never had an issue with knife weight, but it felt solid in my hand for chopping. This is just the chefs knife, I'll get to the rest eventually.

Great starting set!
Heard you have to keep them dry to prevent rust. So I have a towel with this set, just in case. Otherwise great startingbset, sharp, and affordable. Came with everything that it says it comes with!

What to do now?
Seriously? I bit the $100 ish used price that promised they would arrive in original packaging and new condition. Only six of 11 knives showed up. The covers were in the box, but 5 of the knives were missing. The knives themselves are actually really nice. But, now how do I get the rest of them?
