A very happy husband
Bought for my hubby on Father’s Day at his request. He has said they’re great value for money and are of a great quality and very sturdy. He has used them a number of times now and is extremely pleased with them and their quality. The weights he has fit great and the bars themselves are a good weight.

Excellent - well made
These dumbbell bars are excellent. The spinlock collars are well milled, very easy to spin on/off and the inside have a rubber gasket type thing so you can lock it against the plates.Handgrips are comfortable. I got the 18" variation, which means plenty of space for lots of plates.

Good but does not work with my barbell connector
I have a steel barbell extender that works with a pair of York dumbbells, did not work with these.

No oily residue, spin locks fine
Some customers have complained about an oily coating and spin locks being 'loose'. The locks are fine and they always wobble a little on the bar threads anyway. Zero danger of weight plates coming off. Great length to the bars as I need to fit on 45kg (100lb) for dumbbell bench presses. Very happy with the product.

Sturdy bars, little bit shorter than 18" , easy to load heavy, happy to purchased.

good for price. But be careful of spindles
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak I decided (like a lot of people) to use my free time to get in shape.I would say that on the whole, the dumbbells are robust and long enough to handle a large amount of weight plates on each side of the bars ( I train with cast iron plates, and was able to fit 42kg on each bar ).I would say that the bars feel sturdy for most pressing motions and are a decent value for price. However, one BIG negative to the purchase was the fact that the spindles do not seem to fit on properly. When they are spun onto the bar, after a set or two they seem to have come slightly loose.If left unchecked this could be dangerous, so please bare that in mind when considering this purchase. I tried performing 15kg hammer curls and the spindles seemed to hold the pressure, but I would not personally try to load more weight when putting so much pressure on the spindles.However if you are willing to take the risk I would definitely recommend the purchase!
