I do believe this helps with muscle recovery and so does my always skeptical Husband. I bought this size specifically for my neck and shoulders. It’s not weighted so it doesn’t form to your body per se, but works rather well in a flattened state. I wish it were waited so it would form to the body, but it’s good for the cost.

The 850 Setting The 850 Infrared may be near invisible, you really can’t hardly see it, but… I set the belt on 850 and put it on my head. I could feel it in about one minute, and in about two minutes it was getting hot. I removed it because I didn’t know if it would burn. This Therapy Device is NOT Rechargeable Seems like everything is rechargeable these days. Not this, but at least it plugs into USB ports like everything else. It’s a good thing the cable is 5 feet long. The One I Got Only Does 660 and 850 That’s fine, it seems like plenty, but the item page shows 470, 630, 660, and 850. The Instruction Sheet There is very little info on the instruction sheet. Nothing says how to use the belt specifically for this or that, OR which setting to use, 660 or 850. How are you supposed to know? They don't tell you. It just says how long to leave it on. The Velcro Straps These are good quality too. The Item Box is Giftable It comes in a very nice item box, which is giftable.

This is a decent red light pad. It’s smaller than stated. The listing says it has 5*10 inches full coverage infrared light therapy. As can be seen from the picture, the length of the lights themselves is only about 7.5 inches on the pad, and the width is just under 3.75 inches. Despite that, it seems as bright as my other pads, even my 12 volt pads (be careful, as the plugs can be the same and you can easily fry this if you don’t use the 5 volt charger included). I like that it has a plastic shield to keep the diodes clean, and that the cover can easily be removed for cleaning (it attaches to the corners). I also like that the belt is not permanently attached to the pad, but can be removed. In fact, there are two of them! Sometimes when they are attached they just get in the way. I’ve been using red light therapy for a while. I am a believer in the pain reduction aspects of the therapy. It’s done amazing work to reduce joint pain. It’s not a permanent solution, but it does last a while and brings great no-medicine needed relief.
