Ordered black and I was sent a red one. Also was missing bolts, harness bracket, and round gasket. Oddly it also doesn't come with a gasket to connect to the manifold, which is strange.

After hearing mixed reviews about these exhausts I was skeptical. I did have a slight amount of trouble putting it on. Getting the gasket to stay while I put the header pipe on was difficult, but that would have happened with exhaust. I didn't have any issues with the spacing on the triangular bracket although it was slightly tight getting all the bolts in so I recommend not tightening one all the way until you get the other on line up and threaded. I did have to slightly bend the header pipe with my hands out away from the bike cautiously to get enough clearance to mount the muffler to it. Just get the header tightened up on the engine side and gently pull on the other end of the pipe. Don't pull too hard or fast or it may break. I did have a little trouble getting the 3rd Allen key screw tightened up because it was just in a tough spot and I didn't have an Allen key that was either a socket or just a regular L shaped one, but that's on me. I tightened it as much as I could and tightened the other 2 properly. It was slightly challenging to get the bracket with the rubber piece all lined up over the muffler and to the triangular bracket ,but it's doable. Once everything was together I started it up and checked for exhaust leaks and there didn't seem to be any. It sounds great, but it is fairly louder than stock so be aware of that. It definitely sounds deeper and it doesn't have a cheap tingy sound to it. It sounds solid to me. It also looks great. Be sure to change your jets in your carburetor if needed and adjust your air/fuel screw. I definitely had to in order to get it dialed in. Overall I definitely recommend it!

I know this wasn't exactly made for the bike that it's on, but not only does it fit really well. It also sounds incredible. As far as performance, it's hard to gauge personally because I already had a modified exhaust on this and when I did the exhaust I also did the high compression head, the billet flywheel, the billet crank and the billet connecting rod and oversized valves and a hot cam and the vm22 so it's hard to judge if it did anything for performance, but I would say over the stock exhaust at this bike came with it absolutely would have done something. The appearance makes it look like a real motorcycle unless like a mini bike now which is kind of hilarious and it is by far quieter than our other bt200x with the old muffler design on it which is the one from gopowersports. I did have to chop the pipe that this came with and then chop the one from gopowersports and weld them together but after that it fits like glove. It looks like it belongs but also remember that that muffler is going to get really hot. The quality of the pipe that it came with was actually really nice. It's nice and thick. The overall quality of the muffler so far has been very well. It's got probably 20 hours on it. So far it's broken in well the tips starting to get a little golden color to it because of the heat obviously. But it does also make it look kind of cooler. Overall, if you want to make your mini bike a little bit quieter, sound kind of like a bigger bike and possibly make it legal for the road depending on your jurisdiction dollars to donuts. This is the muffler to have!

Got this for my Tao Tao 50 scooter as both a performance and visual upgrade. First the Good Stuff. The head pipe and muffler are well made and solid. Both installed right up and look great. The muffler is a straight thru design and this thing sounds pretty good too neither to loud or too soft at least for my liking. All the holes line up and all hardware is included. Now the Not so Good Stuff. The mounting bracket is almost useless. Who ever took the measurements did a bad job as it is not even close. It took my 3 hours to fabricate, modify and bend this thing to get it to fit but when I finished it is solid. So if you are looking for a bolt up and done forget it. However if you are good at the workbench and have some time you can get it to fit. Overall, looks and sounds great but will need some modification. P.S. doesn't come with a gasket for the head pipe so you may want to order one separately.
