Perfect for selling your house and not much else
I read the reviews before buying. Yes, it is every bit as terrible as people claim. Thinner than toilet paper, smaller than other higher quality covers of the same size, etc. But I bought this for one reason, and one reason alone: I sold my house, and closing was supposed to be today (Oct. 28) according to the contract. The plan was to let the buyer close the pool. However, their attorney's office is dragging their feet on the sale, and we have sub-freezing temperatures in the forecast. So I was forced to close the pool to prevent damage to the hoses and equipment. So since I'm stuck paying extra taxes, utilities and insurance while waiting for their attorney to schedule a new closing date, I decided to cheap out and purchase this cover instead of a good one. If it weren't for the fact that I was moving, I would never use a cover of this low of quality. It's so chintzy that I doubt it will even make it TO winter, let alone make it THROUGH the winter.

Disappointed in thickness and quality
I ordered this same cover last year. I know it is cheap. I use it one year and then throw it away. However this can't be the same cover I bought last year. It is paper thin. I doubt it lasts two months. Time will tell but disappointed with the thickness (mil) in spite of the price. It actually went up about 8% in price from last year. I will try and remember to repost when I see how long it lasts.I took cover off and had the worst case of algae I have ever had. After 2 months the cover had numerous holes and the pool level kept rising. Having all that water came in handy when I had to continually vacuum to waste and backwash my filter to get the green algae out of the pool. Had this pool for over 15 years and it has never been so dirty I couldn't see the bottom.. until now. My brush came off my pole while I was brushing the sides of the pool. It was two days before the water cleared up to where I could find it.I had debated whether to buy a cover or try one of those net covers that let the water go through and just capture the leaves and twigs. That is basically what this was... a net. You could literally press down on the cover and see the webbing separate. I guess they decided to save some money on the grommets too as they were too far apart to keep the cover over the side rails. But.... it was cheap and maybe the netting cover is the way too go. If you shock the heck out of the pool and brush and vacuum constantly you can have clear water in three days. With other covers, I have always had to put water in the pool in the winter and constantly siphon water off the top of the cover. I really don't want to mess with the pool once I cover it until spring when I uncover it. So maybe doing some extra work in the spring outweighs the hassles during the winter and also saves on my water bill. But why not just buy a net cover?

Poor Pool Cover/Poor Customer Service! Do Not Purchase!!
This pool cover did not make it through 1 season. It ripped causing my pool to take in debris and the water turned green before the season began. I fought green algae and wasted tons of money correcting the problem due to this pool cover. I have emailed Amazon numerous times without success of any replacement. This cover has a 8 year warranty but they do not stand behind their product when it comes to replacing the item when defective. I sent multiple images to Amazon and their lack of response was disturbing. Now its the end of the season and I will have to purchase another cover for my pool. Waste of time/Waste of Money!!! Do not purchase!!

Not sized correctly
Well I guess buyer beware ! Inexpensive not always good. I thought I purchased the same tgeee years ago . The s time cover thinnner and barely makes the top around . It claimed two feet overlap . It barely makes 6 inches . 18 x 34 size was short all the way . Not at all happy . I could return but will eat it for this year and with my stretch wrap and cramps I’m going to brave it out , in a wrap not a good cover at all /move up this a better grade . Maybe cause it was a economy item is why my purchase was bad . Never had this issue before though

No overhang, low quality
There is no 2 ft overhang, it barely fit over our pool caps on the 18x33 ft cover. Very thin. This will most likely last one season.... however having said this, all other ones we've purchased in the past only last one season before they become brittle and shred so we bought the least expensive one this year knowing it would be thrown away come spring. Tired of buying the more expensive ones for the same crummy quality.

Decent Pool Cover
This cover does the job. More time will tell as to how durable it will be. The woven material keeps water out of the pool. It takes multiple people to spread it across the poo,l so be ready for that. The reason I rated this a 3 star is that the box came with papers for up sells but no instructions that I saw at all. Being a new pool owner, I had to watch YouTube videos to figure it out which was frustrating.
