Delta Faucet 72172-BL Zura Push Pop-Up Less Overflow, Black

Exactly what I ordered, expensive, but what isn’t.

This is a well-made part that looks good in a vessel sink if you like the size of the very large cap (my wife does). But a warning - the threaded pipe may be too short depending on the overall thickness of your sink, counter top, and vanity. Our granite countertop is 1 1/4" thick and our overall depth was large enough that I could only install the part by eliminating the bottom black gasket and just using the included washer (with extra silicon sealant). With the black gasket in place, there was no thread exposed to complete the connection. It's not a installation I would use in a bathtub or well-used sink, but I think it will suffice in a powder room. Time will tell. I'm sorry I did not measure the length of the threaded pipe before installation so I could include it in this comment. It's a measurement you should check before purchase if you have a vessel sink.

This is made for a sink without an overflow, like a basin or bowl sink. Well made, stainless steel and brass. Minor difficulty installing it, the "click" function to seal the drain would not quite work with the bowl I had, added a small O-ring to the bottom of the stem where it screws into the drain to lift the click mechanism slightly, that fixed it. I've seen the same complaint from others here, but the fix was very simple. My only complaint is that I think Delta should supply the drain assembly separately from the faucet (it was included with the Ara faucet) or make it an option when ordering the faucet, so that a purchaser does not pay double and throw the included one away (it only fits an overflow type sink).

First off, it is huge! I understand it is an 'umbrella' style popup drain, but having never seen one in person before, it was quite shocking how large it seems when sitting in the sink. And since ours was chrome, it was very shiny! I'd recommend cutting a circle out of a piece of paper, about 2.6" wide (the description says 2.8", but i think it was about 2.6", but i could be wrong). Now put that in the bottom of your sink and ask yourself if it looks too big. It was too big for my wife, so we returned it. I liked it however. I probably would have kept it. My wife's argument was that it detracted from our beautiful stone sink. We ended up going with a Kohler popup, non-umbrella style.Bottom line: I'd recommend it for quality, and beauty. But it was just too big for our use. If our sink wasn't stone but was just a solid color or white ceramic, I would have kept this. It's large size would have been a nice little piece of bling that my wife likes.

My plumber was very pleased with the quality and condition of this device. He easily and quickly got the job done.

Quality is excellent and works so much better than the previous off brand. Had a plumber install as we have above counter vessel sinks but even he was impressed with the product and ordered them for other clients

Bought a faucet assembly with overflow to go with a vessel sink without knowing they are not compatible. Lesson learned. Purchased this polished nickel push pop up and problem solved. The metal stopper is rather large but have not had any problems with this product at all. Would definitely recommend.

This was installed by a plumber. It is a large diameter pop up. It is easy to use. Just press it and down it goes. holds water in down position. Easy to clean. Better than wrestling with the pull up stick type. I would really get more of these in future. Had for six months or more.

This worked perfectly for the above the counter vessel sink we installed. Also matched nicely with the faucet. Had to make slight adjustments for the pop up to work but that is to be expected. Some had reviewed that this was for a bathtub, which they may be correct however the vessel sinks do have a larger opening than your traditional bowl sinks. So carefully measure what your requirements are.
