VIV Collection Womens Rayon Modal Solid Flared Maxi Long Skirt

This is such a great color and a really nice skirt, although, normally I wear a size 16 and the triple extra large fits me, so make sure to look at their site chart, not Amazon's as they are way different.The fabric of this skirt is really a nice jersey, a little silkier than t-shirt material and it drapes better. It is really long, better for tall women over 5'6" unless you want to constantly be pulling it up, which I do when I wear it. (very attractive, yanking on my skirt, it has the same level of appeal as pulling up jeans that are made for people with a half inch rise) The fabric is such that it not only skims over your curves, it skims over every bump, fat blob and pimple and screams to the world "look at my cellulite". Not quite the look I was after. Solution, either don't be hung up on your fat legs, or buy a slip to wear with it. I choose the former. If I am going somewhere where I care what someone thinks about my legs more than how much they care about me, then I will probably wear a slip. Even with the issues that this skirt has, I really do like it. Hey no one can be happy and pleased with everything and live their lives disappointment free, so I get on with life even if I don't get perfection from the products I buy sight unseen.

This simple, comfortable maxi skirt is an excellent value. I normally wear a medium skirt, US size 8, but for this product I ordered a large and it fits perfectly. Most of the darker colors are not available. When they are restocked, I will certainly buy more colors. The manufacturer claims that the rayon modal does not pill as readily as the rayon used by competitors. I have yet to launder the skirt, but will repost once I do. The material, by the way, is soft and attractive. If one does not have smooth contours, one will need to wear a body smoother underneath. Ordering a large enough size helps with this situation.

I'm just under 5'9" with long legs and average weight. I was excited to read in the product description that these skirts are SO long, and ordered one in my standard default size - medium.The fabric is absolutely dreamy, the color is deep and true, and it skims the floor elegantly as I walk. It doesn't require side slits because the flowy material allows for freedom of movement. I can adjust the skirt on my hips to accomodate heels or flats and it stays put. I'm so tall that I don't need to fold over the upper fabric, but if I did, it would lay flat and not bunch. This is not the chinsy jersey material that fades and pills, but it's a soft fabric that feels heavier than it looks. It's everything I want in a maxi skirt.The only problem is that the skirt is clingy in this size. Everything in my closet is a medium, so I generally don't have any issues when ordering clothing online, but this is close. It's stretchy, so it's not uncomfortable to wear, but it creates a vixen-y mermaid shape. From the side, the fabric tucks under my rear before flowing to the floor. It's flattering, but I have a more modest style, so I kept the skirt to wear with a long tunic top to cover my rear and upper thighs. I knew when I ordered again that I'd prefer a looser fit.My next skirt was an extra large and it's perfect! The size is a bit unflattering, since I've never even tried on anything in an XL, but I love it! It's drapy and flowy and I feel like a duchess when I walk in it. The fabric doesn't scoop under my rear, but drapes like a waterfall from the widest point of my hips. It's modest, attractive, and fashionable. I now own it in dark brown, navy blue, and forest green, and I plan to purchase again.

I ordered an extra large because I'm tall. Although I'm an average weight, the skirt clung to my abdomen and made it look huge. The fabric is very sheer and stretchy and will hug all the places you don't want it to unless you are very slim with a totally flat stomach. I'm keeping the skirt, however, because it's so hard to find a long white skirt when it's not summer. I'm going to cover up the undesirable parts with a long white cardigan which I was fortunately able to find.

I am extremely impressed. Bought one in XXX Large (which is 3X) in black, and just ordered three more in other colors. I am 5'7" and the length works well on me though I do NOT fold over the waist so that the skirt hits me on my top of my feet, and the XXXL fits perfect for my plus size weight 245lbs. I have to say, I buy rayon/spandex maxi skirts from everywhere including HSN, QVC where I pay about $50. for one and don't like it any better than this one in terms of style or quality. This fabric is not cheap or skimpy. (rayon always has a bit of see through but this is not too thin) (I have bought them from Old Navy and Gap where they are way too thin and I toss them out). If you buy just one, buy the black first since it will be the least likely to show any lumps or bumps and less see through. I am going to take my chance and try a lighter color (rust) and hope it works but I always wear long tops, flowy cardigans and kimono style tops with my maxi's so I don't see a problem with too much reveal. What a fabulous deal and I am thrilled to have so many color choices. (XXXL again equals 3X and my hips are 51" and it fits perfectly).

As a heavier gal, wearing 18 or 18/20 or XXL for bottoms, I've had to experiment with online shopping. Last year I discovered and liked the Popana brand maxi skirts, and followed the reviewers suggestions and sized up to a XXXL and it was perfect.So ordering this, I followed the same rule. I've lost a little weight but not a ton, and decided to stay with a XXXL.These run small. These also drape and cling to the places you want the to flow over.The upside the picture was spot on colorwise, and they seemed to be well made. :/ But beyond that, nope. Returns were easy though with Amazon which is why I chanced it.

I am always interested in the sizing so here it goes: I am 5'6", 125 lbs, size 3-4, 28” waist, 38” hip. Average butt and hips. I ordered a size medium, as I have with several of these style skirts. For some reason, this one seemed too small. maybe it was just the illusion of the solid color versus a print. Just be aware the skirt will fit snug and show your shape – whatever that is. If you like your shape you will love it, if you don’t like your shape you will hate this style.
