Glixal 52mm Big Bore Cylinder Kit Rebuild Kit GY6 49cc 50cc to 105cc 139QMB 139QMA Scooter Moped ATV Go-Kart

Paired this with the 52mm head that is made by same company. It came nicely packed. All gaskets, C-clips, rings, wrist pin included. Came with the rubber gasket to replace the one on valve cover. Nice casting. Even has company logo. That is significant. Installed fairly easy. No need to bore out case hole. I am doing 55mph and can do more but haven't because on a scooter with 10in wheels, over 55mph and things can get a little squirrelly. Been running with this over a month and no issues. Worth it but pointless if you don't include the head and honestly, more than a few other mods. **UPDATE** Well let me just say that this bbk is impressive. Also, let me say that it overheated which caused the piston or the top ring or both to come apart causing fatal damage to the piston and head. The cylinder looks fine but is probably warped. Not upset or surprised. It was my fault. I had leaned out the fuel air mix, took scooter up and over a mountain, and it was hot outside. Also was having exhaust a previously unknown exhaust issue that was causing a blockage of exhaust. All those things combined were too much. On a good note, when the bore kit was really broken in well I was getting into the 60+ mph range. As a matter of fact I hit 67mph, gps verified, the day it failed. I ordered another kit, same one along with same head. This time though, I also ordered the parts to put together an oil cooler with a cooling fan that I can switch on when needed like long red lights etc. Picking up new exhaust also. So even though it failed, I think it could have been prevented and all in all I am still happy with this kit. It has amazing power. Just have to keep the temp down the best you can. If you want to know what I ordered for the oil cooler off of Amazon check back on this review because if it works like I think it will, the parts I will list here.

This is my go 2 when I need a quick top end rebuild. Price is perfect and the quality isn't far behind it. They seem to last and take a heck of a beating. I had one taken out my valves n put a crack in top of the piston but it still ran flawlessly in my other motor when I was in a pinch. So my go to buy every time

This seems like a clone of the expensive naraku 90cc kit. it's not a 105cc its a 90cc. the casting and machining are good and the cylinder had good a good crosshatching pattern. I gave 4 stars because i had to wet sand the piston skirt down because it was a friction fit in the bore. after a little sanding the piston went up and down without rubbing. I have it installed and in the break in process still. It has great power and sounds great.

Seller needs to specify that you will need to bore your case to use this which would have been helpful to know before I spent hours cleaning, detailing and painting my case and then bolting it all together to find out the cylinder doesn't fit which resulted in ruining gaskets I waited two weeks to get.. so now I had to pull the engine completely apart again and use a drum sander to open the block up enough to get the cylinder to fit... Now I get to wash everything again and blow out all the grinding dust, order another gasket set and pray it all lines up correctly so the piston isn't on a bind.

The quality of the product, the piston has a nicer skirt than the cheaper brands. Ease of installation and the power gains.

I disliked that I cannot return this item as I installed it along with the GLIXAL 52mm Cylinder head with oversized valves on my 139QMB 49cc crankcase. See,..I was under the conditioning that this matched the Glixal Cylinder Head and was an 80cc Piston, as I was running an 80cc Jug & Piston that I got from a friend. With all the research I did for this...😵‍💫See, the 52mm Glixal Head with Oversized Valves will not run a 125cc Piston as the combustion area on the Head is smaller than the Piston.Also, 80 to 100cc Bores are the highest one should upgrade to, from a 139QMB as anything higher than, really 80cc bore, you're looking at issues like: heat, rich/lean conditions, big bore carb is needed, and an upgraded Crank is recommended as well as water cooling system.And I was swapping between a PD24J & 18J carb and all different jets!Funny as it seems, it started to run better on with a PD18J as I was 1 step away from going down to a 32/72 size on the Idle/Needle Jet tuning.Yes, that is stock jet size for the pd18j 50cc carb.There was a hole at the bottom of my pd24j carb where the Idle Jet is screwed in. So I worked with the 18j....never went past 20mph, switching between stock, Orange and Blue CDI's, exhausts, Jets...and it wasn't until my friend told me his 150cc Beast symptoms was similar to mine(carb spitting go-go juice out da Intake) that I decided to just pull it apart. That's when I noticed that the piston was very different from my previous 80cc install. I temporarily lost the jug and Piston due to a messy work station, which I cleaned up this morning, and compared it to the 80cc(top right), and 100cc(bottom) the 125cc is top left.So,.."Now I Know!
