They sprouted
It took a while for them to sprout and the shoots are very tender. but I got enough seeds to start again. I left running water go over my sprouting seeds and it was to strong for them. I put in 3 more seeds and they are sprouting already. I can not wait to have them full grown.

Hoax, don’t buy
This was a complete hoax, don’t buy them, none of these seeds flowered, and I tried in various different pots, although they say all you need is to drop them in a pot of water and let them grow, they grow long stems and viney (unlike Bonsai as advertised) but never flowered, not a single one. Amazon should take these out of their store

Perfect, easy and ideal. Beautiful!
It's unfortunate, a lot of the negative reviews are just true of lotus plants in general. I did my homework before buying. That said, these grew so easy, so fast, and perfectly. They did already come with the ends opened for sprout growth. I put them in water only, but not chlorinated water. We have well water. I suspect they'd still grow in chlorinated water, but it wouldn't be as healthy for them (well, if they grew at all). All I had to do was drop the seeds in water and put the bowl in the window for sunlight. They're lotus so they grow naturally in water (they can also grow in pots with soil, so I have read). I got these for my small pond so it looks fantastic now. They grew within just a week, and were ready to go to pond in less than two. Now they have nice, cliche looking, round leaves atop the water which shade my fish. I wasn't sure how they'd fare so I started with only 24 of the 35 seeds sent to me. I prepared for 3 or 4 to grow based on reviews. To my surprise, 22 grew! It's almost too many for my small pond. After they sprouted, I just transferred them into my pond wrapped in some mesh with a few pebbles to keep the roots from floating. And, done. Looks so much better and lotus come back each year all on their own! All I have to do is generally take care of my pond water and that's easy to do. Not sure what people are doing to their seeds but it was insanely easy to start and to do (bear in mind that sometimes shipping can be tough on things, i.e. too much heat, etc.). Overall, 10 of 10. They did exactly as lotus seeds should do. They're healthy and beautiful. Seller did perfectly and shipped fast! Thanks!

Lotus seeds
They never did grow any flowers, but they did grow a bunch of lily pads. Somewhat satisfied with this product

No instructions included
I sprouted a few of them. No instructions on what to do with them! Had to look for YouTube video to find out they needed to be planted in clay soil covered n sand and marble chips to hold everything in the pot when it was submerged in a larger water filled container.

i have lucky at the moment As you will see, the first seeds have been growing from 5, 4 are growing. That's right, they don't come with instructions, which is a shame. But here I tell you a trick... You have to put them in a transparent glass glass, put warm water in them and if you have rainwater, it is better.I have changed it (it is very important to change the water every day).and be careful not to break the growth. Here I put another group and I'll see if they grow.I'll see if it's true that after this phase (they say they died). I think they haven't changed the water. The other thing I would like to know is how long do I have to wait for them to flower?I have bought other Lotus from another company, and from 50 seeds. Imagine, none of them grew, they all died. (If the water became nasty, it didn't matter if I changed the water, the water would rot. At the moment I'm happy, I'll post more information when they give me the leaves and flowers.Hello everyone . here i put one more photo of the lotus . Now after June 21 , 2024 they gowing very well. Now I am waiting when can be blooming. Some ppl say i need to waiting 1 or 2 years to be blooming . I hope not. Well let see /.This product at the moment is very goos .VERY IMPORTANT TO EVERYONE REMEMBER YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE WAYER EVERYDAY PLUS USE RAIN WATER. GOOD LUCK

Less than 50% germinated
The ratio for germination is less than 50% and I don’t consider that to be worth the money. I watched a couple of videos online to make sure I handled them properly for maximal growth, so it was not user error. I did everything that was recommended by creators who grow them regularly. Just not a reliable product. Also, lotuses are very difficult to grow and do require a lot of space. The little, tiny pots sold on here WILL NOT WORK! You need a 20+ gallon pot to grow more than 1 or 2.
