The Men’s Carhartt Medical Rugged Flex Modern Fit Bonded Fleece Jacket is an ideally affordable men's jacket from a brand you can trust for all of the best technology, ultra-durable products, and a fit and comfort like no other. This men's medical coat has earned the Rugged Flex stamp of approval with the perfect amount of stretch, and is treated with the popular and reliable drying technology for durable water repellency that encourages the fluid to bead up and roll off before it gets the chance to soak in. This makes it perfect for any healthcare shift. The bonded fleece is comfortable and rugged while also being fashionable. The two large front patch side-entry pockets, with the front patch pocket on the wearers left proudly features the classic Carhartt logo, plus there is an exterior welt zip pocket on the wearer's left chest for storing smaller items securely. The jacket is a full front zip with a Carhartt logo zipper pull with a chin guard at the top of the zipper for comfort. It also features ribbed sleeve cuffs so you could pull your sleeves up if needed and they would stay put. You can also tuck the ribbed cuffs inside surgical gloves for an added barrier and to help keep anything from getting on the clothing or your skin. The bungee ID loop is placed smartly along the shoulder seam so that you can use it if needed, but it goes virtually unnoticed if not in use. At Carhartt, we make hardworking workwear for hardworking people. We stand behind the quality, craftsmanship and performance of every workwear product we make, because we are worn by the hardest-working people of all — healthcare professionals, veterinarians, construction workers, auto mechanics and other everyday heroes.

I cant recommend more
Wow, this has exceeded all my expectations. I needed the jacket in a hurry for a last-minute trip, and to my delight, it arrived overnight—talk about impressive service! From the moment I put it on, I could tell this jacket was designed with both comfort and functionality in mind. The fleece material is incredibly soft against the skin, yet sturdy enough to provide the warmth I needed in various weather conditions. It’s the perfect balance between being a lightweight layer and a robust windbreaker. On my trip, I found it to be a reliable shield against the elements while still being comfortable enough to wear all day long. What truly stands out about this jacket is its flexibility. The Rugged Flex technology ensures that the jacket moves with you, making it ideal for active use. Whether I was hiking or simply strolling through town, I never felt restricted or overheated. The design also allows for excellent breathability, which is crucial when you’re on the move. The jacket's fit is spot-on—tailored enough to be flattering but not so tight that it hinders movement. I appreciate the attention to detail in the craftsmanship, with reinforced stitching and durable zippers that suggest this jacket will stand up to plenty of wear and tear.In summary, the Carhartt Men's Rugged Flex Bonded Fleece Jacket is a fantastic purchase for anyone in need of a versatile, comfortable, and well-made jacket. Its quick delivery was a lifesaver for my trip, and its performance in both warmth and flexibility made it an outstanding choice. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a reliable and stylish outer layer.

Nice light jacket
Great fit and quality. Husband likes it and it looks good on him, great for those chilly mornings but the wind does go through it he said.

First time ever where I'm disappointed in a Carhart product
If I were to rate solely based on how I feel about this coat, the rating would be much lower. However, because it IS a Carhart product, the quality alone bumps the rating from one to four stars. The coat is well made and fits me well.To me, the cuffs on the sleeves feel like the sleeves of my shirt are sticking out. They're a knit cuff, but fairly large so the elastic in them does not really grip your wrist. I'm not used to that feeling. If it has a knit cuff like on their heavier coats, I feel it should grip your wrist to prevent snow and the like from getting inside. Of course, THIS coat isn't meant to be worn trudging through snowdrifts so it doesn't need to be that rugged, but still. For some reason, I have a hard time mating the zipper after putting the coat on. I'm sure it's just me.It does seem to be just the right weight for Montana springtime where you can have snow and rain in the upper 30's at any time. My other fleece jacket is a bit too light for this weather and I don't need to wear my other Carhart that I can wear when it's -20F...although I'm nice and snuggly warm when I do!My MAIN COMPLAINT with the coat is with the styling. I DESPISE the collar style! Full disclosure - I did buy the jacket knowing I had reservations about the collar style but went ahead to see if my reservations had warrant. For me, they did. I do not like the feeling of having an almost full-circumference collar in contact with my neck. I very much prefer the classic fold-down style where it is there, but not up against your face.If I can get over the feeling of the collar, this jacket could become my springtime season favorite. Today is the fist day I've worn it. Just got it yesterday. It has been and will continue to be a rainy week and possibly into next week as well. I should then have an idea of how well it sheds water. Hopefully it's more wind resistant than the fleece jacket I have.If you don't mind the collar, this jacket could be great for early spring and late fall weather. If you don't like collars right up next to your face, I'd look elsewhere. Also, I got this in black. It's going to be a magnet for light colored dust, lint, etc. Thankfully I don't have a cat or it would be completely covered in cat hair right now - the whole 12 hours I've had it!

its a good, professional looking jacket
pretty warm jacket if you got a basic thermal shirt underneath, i work in 30F weather and its thin enough to have a good range of motion and keep you warmthe outer material feels somewhat in-between thick and soft, and the inner part is softIt's a little bit water resistant, not 100%, probably like 20% at most, so it helps if you accidentally spill something and it splashes youmy only gripe is that there is no inner pockets, if it did it would've been the absolute perfect business jacket, I'll have to add on and sow some myself later on, for extra storage

Get it
This jacket fits well works well I highly recommend it. If you’re going to be in extremely cold weather obviously wear some layers. This jacket is made with quality in mind. Zipper is smooth. Sleeves are comfortable. I use my jacket for work unloading trucks and I can move freely as I work and lift. The jacket does not restrict your mobility it stretches with you
