This is my first time using poly gel and I love it! I have very thin and brittle nails thanks to hypothyroidism so I normally get dip manicures at the salon but in an effort to save money I decided to start doing them at home. I couldn’t find any dip kits that were easy and made it look like they were done at a salon—it was easy to tell they were done at home. Regular gel was still not firm enough for my weak nails but I did some research and decided to try poly gel. I did buy a more powerful UV lamp, so I didn’t try the one in this kit but the poly gel looks amazing. The first time I made a few mistakes so they popped off easily but I watched a few YouTube videos for tips and tricks and this was my second try. It’s so easy! It did take me a long time but only because I’m a perfectionist. Highly recommend this kit if you’re a beginner, and remember to use cuticle oil daily!

I'm fascinated with Modelones' 133-piece kit. It comes super complete: gel enamels of beautiful colors, files, brushes, decorations, LED lamp and all the necessary accessories for a professional manicure at home. The quality of the products is excellent: the enamels have very good pigmentation, last weeks without peeling and the lamp dries very quickly. I loved the variety of tools included, which allow you to experiment with different nail design techniques. In addition, the packaging is very beautiful and organized, also ideal as a gift. A perfect investment for beginners and professionals!

The kit works well but it is a bit mess and hard to use the first couple times. I found it most difficult to keep the layers even and move the product around to get them even and there was little instruction on how to do that properly. I wish it came with a couple more clips so I could do more fingers at the same time. The light provided works, but I found that one with an opening on one side and lights down the side works better for the product. With the light provided, you will need to cure them longer than mentioned and I recommend flipping them to make sure they are fully cured before doing anything else. The polish bottles for the base and whatnot are tiny so be mindful of that but overall nice colors and a good amount of product for the price.

The media could not be loaded. This is the first set I’ve ever done in my whole life and it turned out amazing because the product was so easy to use unlike acrylic which I tried once and never again because it was immediately a pain in the neck to use, the kit comes with a lot of good stuff for a starter kit and you get a good amount of stuff for the price, I did but my own nail drill, lamp and I used nail tips instead of the molds it comes with, just made the process easier and the nail molds don’t create as sturdy of a set as they do with tips. I would recommend also buying a bigger curing lamp because this one is pretty small, just takes much much longer to cure because it’s very small. Over all I’m impressed though, and any one complaining about the size of the poly gel colors should understand this is a beginner starter kit, if you find this works for you go onto their store and buy full size bottles. Overall I would highly recommend this if you’re wanting to start doing your own nails!Update: the first set I did for my sister lasted 2 weeks ish, now that I really got the flow of it the sets that I’ve done for myself and her hacw lasted around 3 and a half weeks, so the product stays really well also, again I’m using Tips before I go over with the poly gel but overall still very satisfied with the products!

Good, and easy to use if you’re somewhat familiar with the products my only complaint is they only lasted like a day. Popped off, cracked or just kinda peeled off. Gonna keep at it maybe it was user error but me just doing my laundry and washing dishes shouldn’t take away the whole nail yk

The picture is from the second set of nails that I did with the modelones polygels. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I have LOVED this kit. It comes with pretty much everything you need, but I recommend getting a set of files to buff/shape your nails as well. I had never ever done anything like this for myself and had definitely never used poly gel before, but this went so much better than I thought it would. They do take a little practice to figure out, but if you watch a few YouTube videos about using polygels it’s not too hard to learn. Right now it takes me a couple hours to do my nails but I’m getting faster with practice, and I’m excited to try some new designs and honestly can’t wait until it’s time for my next manicure! So far they’ve held up pretty well, and lasted about two weeks without any problem before I took them off to do something new.

Are absolutely beautiful. It works as a base but using it as an extension it is a bit weak. I personally will not buy this again.

Love the idea of doing my nails at home. Polygel isn’t as easy as people make it seem. I feel like the brand might be slightly cheap which makes it harder to work with and hold up. The light that comes with it is amazing and so are the tools. Will be getting a different brand of gel next time.
