I have an old condo and upgraded my kitchen, my cabinets were in good condition just old, so I painted them and wanted to have concealed hinges. After doing some research on how to do that without having to drill holes i found these. It is a matter of getting them on there and adjusted properly but once you do their perfect.

These are not soft close hinges, they are slam open slam closed hinges, see video. If you still decide to use them they don't come with any templates or directions, what they do come with are countersink screws which are not the correct screw for this application, other reviews have also said they are poor quality and snap off. Throw them away or save them for some lightly loaded application. Order Stainless Steel replacement screws, #6 or #8 X .45" - .475" Long panhead type screws. I prefer Bolt Depot, they have consistent superior quality hardware. I clamped the sample boards shown in the picture and video together first, which is what I would do with a door too. Carefully fold the hinges to the closed position, they are hard to fold and will absolutely snap shut on your fingers so do be careful, gloves will help some. Using 2 pairs of pliers is probably the safest way. You can use double sticky tape to hold them temporarily in position if you have a hard time otherwise. Pilot drill at the middle of the slotted holes first, don't go too deep, and install the screws just to the point of being slightly snug. Make any adjustments to the door position then tighten them down. Open and close the door to make sure you are happy with the position then tighten them down fully. Open/close again to make sure nothing shifted then pilot drill the non-slotted holes and install the screws at those locations. I ordered 6, returned 4, because they are not soft close hinges. The 2 in the picture I attached used in the test part seem to be adequately functional for how they actually work but after installing in the test article they are not in new condition so I'm out for the cost of those 2. If they were in fact soft close as stated I would have been quite satisfied with them as it is I wasted a lot time messing around with them.

As in the title, these Doboga hinges are solid and work just fine (not too stiff as some have stated). Yes, unattached to anything they can be a little stiff to open. Just pull from the *hinge* and not from the ends and they'll open right up. After attaching to a door and frame they have the same normal opening and closing feel as any other spring-loaded hinge. For the price and the smooth operation, I'd recommend these as a good set of hinges for whatever you need.

I had a medicine cabinet that used one of the standard recessed hinges (like the ones you see on kitchen cabinets) however I could not find the correct size to replace the broken hinge. I choose these because they were flush mount and did not need to be recessed. They work great! Just a note to test on scrap wood first to see how these work.
