I'm growing 2 quarts of Organic Broccoli sprouts weekly for maybe 2 months now and this system is super easy and so tasty! I'm so glad I got this set with all the pieces I use them all daily. I initially washed these with boiling water to sterilize, and the lids and canning jars that can handle it. I use the black sleeves for the first 3 days and then remove them the last couple days to green up the sprouts. The sprouts grow faster this way. My Organic Broccoli Seeds seem to really like the cold filtered water from my filtered fridge pitcher. I usually let them hang out in the water for a while before I drain them and put them back on the racks. The 2 racks are well built, no rust, no issues with the bottles falling or rolling off the racks. The mesh lids are fine enough to keep these teeny tiny Broccoli seeds from washing away. Just got a variety pack of other seeds to expand my sprout collection. The only things missing are adding calendar reminders and a good salad spinner to wash the seed husks off at the end.

I have been missing alfalfa sprouts recently. None to be found in markets. This is a cute little kit to let you do this. I tried the cheesecloth option but just too much to mess with. This is just quicker and feels cleaner. The only thing I would mention is that the adjustable stand seems to slip a little, but I didn't want to break it so I may just need to tighten a little more. That is no biggie and the tray lip holds it and the jar in place nicely. So by your seeds and set your reminder to rinse and drain. Should have sprouts in 3-5 days.

Growth of seeds was fun to watch grow I added sprouts to sandwiches, I even added sprouts to pizza dough and it turner out great

There are so many similar products that one can buy, but I chose this one because of all its features combined: The jar, with green lids (I like green!) the stands, the tray, the price, how easy it is to clean, and that unlike many others it had the sleeves. It really does make the seeds grow faster when in the dark to begin with, then when you remove the sleeve the sprouts tun nice and green. I have been enjoying beansprouts (mung beans), a variety of legumes and salad sprouts and am very happy with how much easier these jars are to use than the other stackable sprouting trays I've used before. The tray is plastic and on first use it stained as the water dripped from the jars. Thankfully I was able to get the stain off with bleach, but have since used a piece of paper towel underneath the stands, to avoid that. I saw that a different brand had a ceramic tray, and to have a that would improve this, but due to the other features of this one, I'm glad I chose it.

Just what I needed I usually had to balance the jars in a bowl and find a dark area to keep the sprouts. This has the stand with tray to keep drips out of the area where they are used. The strainer lids are fine I already had plastic ones but the sleeves are fantastic for being able to put the sprouts anywhere. Edit 5 down to 3 because the strainer lids are awful and caused rotten sprouts and slime in the jar because they do not drain enough while rinsing. Plastic lids with diffrent sized holes work better. Still great racks and jars.

I have used them yet but they shipped fast. I can’t wait to use them. They were exact what I ordered

I have been growing alfalfa and mung bean sprouts in these containers for a few months now. They are super easy to use, the darkening sleeves come on and off easily and are easy to clean ( except I lost one :( ). The directions are easy - just put a couple of tablespoons of seeds, soak over night the first night, then rinse and drain 2x a day until sprouts are ready

Ordered this because it shows as a complete kit. I received everything but no seeds. Now I have to spend extra money for the seeds. Not very happy.
