Not for Everybody
Art work is class, story is lame. I am embarrassed to read it in public.

Jules Verne's Journey to the Centre of the Earth, but with more explosions and larger breasts
The art is fantastic, the covers especially, which seem to have a spark of life in them. The writing is very well done if a little shallow at times (though that may be intentional as most of the shallow moments come from neanderthals or it could be possible that they just seem dull as Jana the Jungle Girl is written so brightly) but has some very clever moments that come from Jana.I recommend this to anyone who enjoys adventures intertwining dinosaurs with the modern day. Cave men and machine guns, sabertooth tigers and submarines, beautiful strong women fighting horrible sea monsters.... It isn't a brilliant story but it reminds me of the imagination and spectacle of old movies that wanted to show something to amaze. The action is pretty much nonstop which I think may be it's only detriment... they don't really stop for exposition (which a lot of books have too much of) and just keep tearing through a world full of danger with reckless abandon. I give the book a 9/10 and suggest it to old school adventure fans... it's like Jules Verne but with more explosions and a much more titillating lead lady.I bought this because of censorious virtue signalers demanding people not buy things from artists that don't bow down to their busy body "moral" authoritarians. I love that Frank Cho has not backed down when people try to silence him by screaming insults at him and calling his art "bullying" and "harassment" and their cursing him and slandering him "tolerance". I won't be told what to enjoy by crybullies I'm glad that I made this spite buy.

Kurvenreiche Dschungelabenteuer
