These are great and my dog loves them. I would admit that some of it will be dust at the bottom of the bag but when I get to that I sprinkle it on his food for an extra little treat. They are loved and they are also low fat so dogs with tummy issues can eat them without regret. :-).

I bought the turkey instead of the chicken by mistake, but when it arrived I was hopeful my fussy cat would like it. I don't use it as treats but crumble the pieces up to top off his Weruva Paw Licking Chicken. He never knew the difference. I like the turkey better because it crumbles easily. I crumble up a container full to have as topping for his wet food (can't eat any kibbles). I call it "frosting" & he expects his turkey frosting on his food. Just a pinch or two on top of his food satisfies him. I would not try to break up the pieces as small treats because they crumble too easily. For a dog, breaking the pieces in two would be doable but not for cats.

I've purchase two of these big bags in just a couple months because we just fly through them. They're a hit with both cats and dogs! Sometimes I sprinkle some in their bowls as a little snack and can't even finish crumbling it up before they're shoving my hand away trying to get to it. I also love that they are fully cooked before freeze drying since I try to stay away from anything raw for safety reasons.

I have two senior cats, one 15 the other 13. My eldest began losing weight the last couple of years and I thought it was just him getting older. I took him to the vet who informed me (after confirming with blood tests) that he had hyperthyroidism. I was told to research cat food and to only give him high protein canned cat food. After a bit of reading I found that a high meat diet was the best thing for him, so I then found this product. I'll be honest, my old cats aren't fond of change. They do prefer the canned food, but the nutritional value this has is exactly what will help my cat. Mind you, he also underwent iodine radiation therapy to cure him of his hyperthyroidism. So, regardless of their preference I've been giving this to my cats. I mix it with their canned food with some warm water. Because they're picky, I noticed they ate around the bits of turkey. So... I got a "herb" grinder and grind it up into a powder, add warm water, stir in wet food, and they actually eat their high protein turkey. Much less waste. My cat that was treated with hypothyroidism is now gaining weight, his coat is beautiful again, and he has a lot more energy. I'm sure a lot of that is his health improvement overall, but I do credit this product. And if you have picky eaters, I think the powder is perfect as a mix-in.

Quick take this off your auto-ship! Jumped from $35.99 to $53.19. It’s a shame, because it was a decent product.
