Ok, first off, it is HUGE!!! Like roasting 3 full chickens and all the fixings at one time huge. I love it!!!!It gets hot & stays hot. No up & down. Top fits well, so the contents don’t dry out more than they should. It’s easy to clean up, just don’t forget to spray the roasting pan with non-stick.This is a good roaster that does everything it should. Very hoot with the purchase.We’ve roasted chickens, a huge turkey breast, tons of vegetables, and made broth out of bones in it by leaving them on low to develop the flavors. It holds steady temp, so it’s perfect.Yes, the outside gets hot, it’s kind of impossible to keep it cool without making it much larger & more expensive.

I've used this for every major food event we've hosted. It's very convenient for staging multiple different hot foods.

This is a great large roasting pan that I just did 3 Easter hams in beautifully! Cooked them low and slow all night and the meat fell off the bone!
