Amazon Essentials Men's Slim-Fit Stretch Golf Short

I recently snagged a pair of Amazon Essentials Men's Slim-Fit Stretch Golf Shorts during a special sale, and I'm really glad I did. These shorts have been excellent both for casual wear and for practicing at the driving range. The fit is especially appealing to me; they aren't too long and don't reach the knees, which is perfect as I'm a shorter guy. Many shorts that hit the knee tend to make me appear even shorter, so this length is ideal.The fabric quality and feel are impressive—soft, durable, and with just the right amount of stretch for comfort without sacrificing the slim fit. They maintain their shape and look good even after several wears and washes.While I'm very satisfied with the purchase, I do feel they should be offered at a lower price point, particularly since brand-name alternatives are available at similar prices in various stores. More color options would definitely tempt me to buy several more pairs.Overall, these golf shorts are a solid choice for anyone who appreciates a great fit and high-quality fabric. If you're considering them, especially if you're on the shorter side, I'd recommend giving them a try. I plan to keep an eye out for future sales to perhaps grab a few more!

The fabric is standard thickness for summer shorts. The material is soft, a hint of shine. The blue ones I got are true to color. No issues in the stitching with the pair I ordered. They seem to have good durability, maintaining their shape after several washes. Pockets are deep enough for a phone in a case and things I put in there don't fall out when I'm driving. Seems to be true to size, the stretch makes up for any slight variation you may have with your body vs the size you normally wear.

I buy a lot of clothes for my husband, as he finds shopping nearly intolerable. He is very picky, so ordering online is a gamble. These shorts are so nice, though! He really likes them. They are good quality, and very slimming, without feeling tight or binding. The material is sturdy, and a bit forgiving, but won't stretch out. I found the 1st pair on sale for under $5.00 which is why I tried them, virtually no risk. Found the 2nd pair on sale for a bit more, and snagged them right away. If you are accustomed to purchasing shorts at a department store, these would be on the higher end of the quality you would find. The only complaint my hubby had was the smaller pocket in front of the regular pocket on the right side. I explained that it is for something smaller, like a couple of quarters or a single key, but he correctly countered that getting small items into the pockets is not the problem, getting them back out again is. OK, he has a point. Otherwise, these have been a very successful purchase, and I will keep an eye out for when they go on sale. I am simply too “tacaña” to purchase anything at full price, generally but my hubby does not favor thrifting like I do. These days, thrifting is not really a responsible option, so I am glad that I can find sales sometimes on Amazon!

These are okay. I didn’t notice a good stretch and it seemed it would fade over time. Not a pair that would look new for a long time. We returned them because they were too large for my Father. He normally buys xxl because he wears his pants big but this xxl was too big. He needed an xl. He is 6 ft maybe 240 lbs he is a runner and has muscular legs and thighs so after reading the previous reviews we thought the 2x would fit but they were very big on him .

These shorts are on par (in fact better) than many of the other golf shorts I've owned. I typically buy from sporting goods stores to give you an idea. PGA Tour, Dockers, etc. I work outside 5 days a week in what is basically golf attire. That means these see more wear and tear out of any other clothing I own. Now this is an early review, so only time will tell how long they last. But let me tell you, I've already gotten compliments. They look and feel good. They hold in my shirt nicely. The pockets are well thought out. My only gripe, which is a very easy fix (a lighter) is there are some stray threads here and there on the inside. Time will tell how they hold up, but for the price I'm excited!

Was nervous about trying Amazon Essentials clothing but read good things. These shorts are great. They feel much higher quality than the price suggests. The material is quite nice. The fit is absolutely perfect. I really like these shorts, really good value and I will for sure be buying more of them.
