Our little Beagle/Jack Russell mix would wolf her food down, often having gag reflexes because she ate so fast, and sometimes throwing up dry food which had not been chewed. She only eats 1/3 cup of food twice per day but she would finish the food, seriously, probably in under 10 seconds. We bought the slow feeder dog bowl and it's AWESOME. It takes her about 2 minutes to eat because the bowl slows her down and she has to work for the food. I will be buying another to have at my mother-in-laws where she stays some weekdays.

Love this feeder, it is easy to clean and also has lots of divisions to make it a great slow feeder. I have a variety of slow feeders and feel this one is my favorite. I switch them around weekly so each dog gets a different feeder and has to learn a new pattern.

I bought this dish for my rat terrier, who eats really fast. It does not seem to slow him down at all because the dish is too shallow. The food is easily picked up. Maybe a bigger dog would have more of a problem eating from it as their nose wouldn't fit as easily into the slots. It is well made though and very sturdy.

The point of the bowl is to slow your dog down eating....That works IF the bowl's rubber feet does not fall out so your dog is not pushing the bowl everywhere. I have had this less than a week. All four of the rubber feet have fallen out. My puppy ate at least 2 of the rubber feet. Why doesn't the bowl come with the feet glued in? Very disappointed by such a small thing that could easily have been made better by design.

These are so good for their digestion, as the dog cannot eat as fast.

Mini Schnauzer perfect! My 5 month old pup just scarfs his food down in less than a minute. But with the TechDutch Pet Slow Feeder he has to take his time. It’s more fun for him to work for it. And it’s had the added benefit of giving my older schnauzer time to finish her food without the pup trying to push her aside. Win win and I highly recommend it!!!

I ordered two of these bowls. One for water and one for food. The one for food was to slow my puppy from eating too fast and the water one was to keep him from sticking his nose in the water and getting water up his nose and coughing from that. The bowls solved the problems and work well for him.

Works great for my little snarfer. Before it took him all of 30 seconds to eat, now it takes him longer and he actually takes a breath in-between bites! Mine didn't come with the rubber feet on the bottom, and he doesn't push it around. He's a 16lb dachshund and figured out how to get the food the first day.
