Was waiting with bated breath for it to arrive in a nice little box then it arrived, before the latest delivery date so sweet! The kit itself is gorgeous, the instructions are brief but clear, and the charts and painting on the canvas are good so far I just started stitching last night. The yarn is not plied and does not need to be separated into thinner strands so that makes it even easier to organize. It also came with two large metal tapestry needles good for the size of yarn worked with. I may run out of yarn of course but I can tell that the yarn is a fair approximation of Caron simply soft yarn so I can always supplement a color if I run out. The yarn is acrylic and I would say that it’s likely that it is Caron simply soft, so it’s got a lot of sheen and is a bit slippery compared to wool or other acrylics but that means it glides through the holes very easily, just be sure to secure it well on the back when done stitching and your good. Genuinely tempted to order another right now in anticipation of finishing this one, lol I don’t want to wait between projects!

This is the third kit I have ordered and completed. They are all absolutely beautiful, fantastic quality, the colours are vibrant, and a joy to sew.I also bought the velvet back for all three of the cushions and they are equally fabulous. I highly recommend this company and hope to order more. Just love them!

This is a quality product. The design is stamped on the canvas perfectly with straight even lines throughout. Instead of only using the half cross and continental tent stitches as suggested, I used the basketweave stitch especially, on larger areas to prevent distortion of the canvas; the stitch also uses less yarn though Brvsk supplies more than enough. I also wondered why acrylic yarn is preferred instead of tapestry wool yarn as wool would be more durable. Other than these comments, I’m very pleased with the product and will probably turn this into a pillow. I ordered another, the Royal Tapestry and have my eye on another.

The printed pattern on the needlepoint canvas is done perfectly. I have finished more than half of the needlework on the pillow easily because of that.My needlework experience spans over 40 years. However, this is the first time I’ve used acrylic yarn (supplied). I am unhappy with it. No matter the caution I take, the finished stitches become very fuzzy as I move to other areas of the pattern. I could pin a piece of fabric to the finished areas (more work), but the acrylic yarn would react the same way when on a couch and people are touching it or moving it around. Wool is so much better. Considering the cost of this project (happy to pay and it is not from China), I won’t order from this company again ONLY because of the acrylic yarn supplied. That being said, I have to add that the yarn supplied is generous.

Beautiful pattern!!! I was very impressed to find that I had plenty of yarn left in each color after finishing this project and I did not have to ever worry about possibly not having enough. The yarn was of good quality and the colors were very bright and vibrant. I would highly recommend.
