YEs it can, however it looks the same. As it only looks at heat signatures so it doesn’t matter if it is day or night, but I would not recommend it at night as it makes it a bit difficult to shoot,as what your eyes see and what it sees are different depending upon heat signatures. However it is a must have!

Is it a daylight scope too. Or only night ?

Daylight or Dark Doesn't Effect this scope. It is NOT an IR night scope it is Thermal, so it only sees heat. As Long as you aren't trying to shoot a thousand rounds directly at the sun you will have no problems with the sensor in the daylight. However, as the sun heats things in late afternoon the scope will be less effective as most items will absorb heat and be relatively close to the body heat of any given animal. These Scopes are superbly effective in colder environments or Late at night due to temperature difference being how these scopes operate.

Can I see green iguanas with a Thor 4? Best time?

You can see green, blue, orange and any other color of Iguana. In fact I’ve seen white, black, red, green, blue and purple cows. All depends on the color pallet you choose in the scope and how drunk you are. You might even see aliens.
