The best controller for PC gaming
I've been needing a controller to play some games on PC and this is probably the best controller for the money that you can get for PC. I've been playing video games all my life so I've listed a couple of the things that I've noticed leave an impact on gamers.Pros:-Long lasting charge (I've been playing for 3 days at around 4-5 hours/day and it hasn't died yet)-Very ergonomic & comfortable in your hand, much more so than Playstation controllers-Very smooth analog sticks and triggers, much smoother than the Playstation's analogs and triggers-Buttons aren't too sticky like old generations-Buttons are all tactile and register nice clicks on presses-Perfectly compatible with Windows 10 & Steam so setup and configurability was a breeze-Controller is textured, so your hands get a good grip on the controller-The way the batteries are removable on these controller is nice because you can swap rechargeable battery packs instead of having to plug in your controller. This is a big plus over the Playstation controllers I think.Cons:-Takes AA batteries, but you can put battery packs in the controller instead of batteries and just use rechargeable battery packs. IMO the controller should have battery packs instead of AA batteries, but battery packs can be bought off Amazon for ~$20 so it's not a big deal, and they let you charge one battery while you play using the other battery and just swap them.ConclusionQuality controller that has a better battery design, ergonomics, and controls than most of the competition and is easily compatible with PC's. It's a win in my book.

if you are going to get a pc controller..make it an xbox one controller
I will be blunt...I hate microsoft. I hated when they got into gaming I've hated almost everything they have ever done in gaming...that being said...this seems to be an exception.while this controllers analog sticks are probably the weakest feature they work well enough. Where I was really impressed was with the considerations made for the end user. having a AA battery pack may seem like a bad idea at first but with rechargeable AA batteries this is obviously the ideal solution for no downtime and gets rid one of the most common points of failure for most controllers. the battery. The wifi dongle included with the controller works well I have never had an issue.I also rather enjoy being able to turn any pair of headphones into wireless headphones via the plug on the bottom. it's honestly a better solution then actual wireless headphones. no more worries about having to make sure the headset is charged up. interference with other wireless devices or having to deal with a cord stretched over your play space.the one complaint I have is the analog sticks. it mostly seems like in this department they are going backwards on purpose to make the "elite" controller more valuable. these sticks don't feel as graceful or precise as previous xbox controllers I have used so I can only conclude this is intentional since quality sticks are not a make or break to the cost of manufacturing. These feel like one step up from Mad Katz. so it cost them a star.

DO NOT get third-party controllers. There's always a compromise. GET THE ORIGINAL!
This one feels solid, requires no out of the box calibration, nor any calibration at all. You just connect it, let Windows recognize it, and off you are to playing! The controller feels so nice and solid in the hand, and the vibration feels better too than third-party controllers such as PDP, which I absolutely abhor.I have an Afterglow Prismatic and I need to calibrate it every time I'm going to use it, and it loses calibration mid-gameplay. Happens in more than one of my PCs. It's a total psychological torture to use that trash controller, which also looks and feels like a dollar-store toy. It's why I went ahead and bought this original one, which I should've done so in the first place, but pandemic prices skyrocketed, so I waited until they went down to the low $60s.I don't understand why these cursed companies even bother making controllers that are cheaper but worst than the OEM ones. It's a total killjoy to use them. God bless!

GREAT CONTROLLER!!! Will buy more!
Honestly, this is my favorite controller of all time. Before this controller it was definitely the Xbox 360 controller due to the ergonomics of the controller, that felt so good in the hand and on the wrists. I really hate the way the thumbsticks feel on the PlayStation controller so I have always steered away from using those controllers. The plug-and-play aspect and the fact that you can hook up multiple controllers and have a sit-down with your family, on a couch, with split screen, is honestly so cool. Also fun fact is if your PC has Bluetooth, hold the little button on the top, and look for "Xbox Controller Input" in the Bluetooth settings. I lost my little dongle piece and it will still connect to my gaming PC wirelessly. The plastic has a nice grippy feels with these Tony little bumps where your fingers grab. The thumbsticks have a very nice grip that has a really nice texture to keep the thumbs from slipping. Very well built, sturdy, controller that will last
