Just Seed Perilla - Shiso Red - 900 Seed

Grows ok

After 4 weeks of raising the seedlings, the seeds have not changed at all. I don’t know if they are real seeds.

Bought together with Green ones in February. Planted straight away, and some more in April, growing well. Red ones take longer to germinate and less seeds succeed than green ones. But as there are 900 seeds in the bag, no problem.Red ones are more intense. I am growing them indoors by the window. As I cannot buy these delicious leaves in the local supermarkets, I am so delighted to have them at home!

Now that the plants have grown they are not purple perilla as labeled. In fact I have no idea what the plants are. Could be posoinous for all i know. I will continue to cultivate them and let you know the outcome.This experience has put me off purchasing from you or recomending you to fellow gardeners.

I am not sure because of UK weather or because of seeds. Non of them growth.

Very pleased to find these seeds on-line. Have several plants doing very well. Will use this nursery again next year.
