I used the hammer on the thick glass disc supplied with the product. Bang, crack, it worked. Now the end cap won't stay on! Going back, minus the broken glass. Plus the instructions (once I got the very sticky label removed) told me to use my head on the glass!

This can be mounted in your car or carried in a pocket or attached to your key ring. Shame there’s no instructions that would be helpful.

The media could not be loaded. The cap doesn’t fit the device which doesn’t instill confidence in the device. 🤦‍♀️ sending it back.

It definitely works. Tried it on the piece of glass and it shattered into a thousand pieces all across the floor..

It's small to store, yet highly visible, and functions as it should i.e. breaks glass with a simple press. My only small minus point is that the cap is a bit awkward to put back on, though considering it is be used to help escape from an emergency situation, wouldn't be a serious consideration!

These come with a small sheet of thick glass to test it on and boy does it work a treat. Great value for money and peace of mind for the car.I like the fact there is a special mounting sticker to attach it to your dashboard, so you always know where it is.

I cannot work out how to fit up the hammer part. There are no instructions so I will be returning it and order something more substantial

The most important piece of information I took from this is that, yes, they reset automatically and can be used over and over again. I tested it twice more to make certain. That means, for example landing in water, that you can break your window then pass it to (or reach to) the opposite window and break that. This will stop your vehicle from letting water in one side only and tipping your car into a spin, which would be a disaster for orientation and escape of occupants.Great piece of lifesaving kit!
