Magical repair
I was extremely skeptical since I was applying this covering to a snowmobile seat that would be in the freezing cold and weather. The product is easy to apply and extremely pliable and flexible and sticks to what you need to. Went out on a hard ride and the material worked perfectly And 10 times less than a replacement seat when there was just a small area. Next day delivery was phenomenal. Exceeded my expectations for application and durability!

Good Product
I needed to cover the peeling/worn fabric on my sofa. I cut it to size. The adhesive is strong, the thickness is good, it looks better than ever and is holding up very well.Good product

Plan Ahead & Some Suggestions
This roll is a true white and does have a texture that looks like leather. I just applied it to one of our office chairs and it looks "okay", but I think it could have looked a lot better if I'd planned ahead. I outline those changes below. One roll was used up covering one office chair with a seamless back and seat. I had maybe 5" leftover. What I would do differently: Use an extremely sharp pair of scissors, otherwise you get jagged cuts which don't look nice. Measure your chair in sections. You want to use as few "pieces" of leather as possible, so it looks seamless. Then with pencil measure & cut the pieces needed. You will need to allot cutouts for chair arms or other parts that are not part of the seat youre covering. Cut these out smoothly before. Lay everything out. Peel off entire backing of biggest piece. The backing peel will want to peel into little pieces, not big areas, which is annoying. Try to avoid that. Also some people said to only peel backing off as you need it, but I did not find that feasible. Get the whole backing off and be careful how you hold it. Press down in desired area. Smooth it out with your hands. Life up certain areas that need more smoothing and you can re-stick it. Then work from top down with your other pieces; lay them down before unpeeling to make sure it's a good fit, and all the cutouts are accurate. Then repeat process. Before you begin, do look at the back of your chair, and the bottom of your chair if you care how that will look with the excess leather. If you do, you will need to make more special cut outs for chair parts. I can't tell yet if the adhesive is good or not, but right now it feels solid. It's a better solution than buying a new chair, but only if you take the time to do it right. $20 is a little steep for one chair. I think $9.99/ea would be a better price, then you could do 2 chairs. Good luck!

A little like lipstick on a pig, but hey, way cheaper than re-upholstered.
I am getting my 2000 Ford F150 ready to sell. Driver's seat was in a shambles. I should have taken pics before putting any material on. The Drv seat was covered with holes in the upholstery. I did get the one picture of the side of the back, imagine this condition all over the seat. I started by using duct tape to close up the holes. Duct tape is far stickier and provides a good base by covering up the exposed foam. I know the duct tape will hold because I have had duct tape on the driver's seat for about 7 years and it stays put. But it sure is an ugly look. The material was not wide enough to cover the whole seat side to side. I chose to go vertically hoping it would stick better over time. Don't know. You can see I've put the duck tape on vertical and it stays. Anyhow, you can see the series of steps involved. The first pict is of the passenger seat, just for reference. It's aged but has no tears or foam exposed. There are picts are the drivers seat. I have driven the vehicle since the patch and it seems to be staying in place. Then I showed a bit of the process on the passenger seat. I should have done the passenger seat first and learned how to make the cuts. The driver side cuts are very messy. Note: even though I loaded the pictures in a step by step order, Amazon does not recognize the load order. Thusly, the picture order is jumbled.Overall, it's a big improvement over the decay. The material is the right thickness. The glue seems like it could be a little stronger. Don't let it fold over on itself however, it will be stuck close to permanent. Some general purpose spray glue is helpful when covering fabric materials. The price is very reasonable considering the alternatives. I bought one roll. Tried it out and bought the second roll. So far, I am pleased with this purchase.

Still working after 2 years
I couldn't get it to lay flat on the puffy chair back and figured it would get tired and fall off in a few months. But it's still on there clinging fast, though with a few wrinkles. So it didn't make a brand new looking chair, but it really took a ratty old trash look and make it so most folks don't notice it's been repaired. Well worth the money.

Great for large area patches!
Was able to patch two large rips/holes 12x12" size on a all leather couch that will be a man cave couch now.Peeling off - too early to tell but sticks better than duct tape :)Durability - too early to say but its thicker than the couch leatherThere will be a edge where it meets the coach leather no way around that unless you fill it in.Color does not match but close enoughIts not a professional job in looks but also better than nothing or white duct tapePros - its l wide and long enough to cover larger areasLooks - Well i did this alone in 5 min with a pair of scissors. I think its a 2 man job to help peeling and getting wrinkles out while applying it. I ran out of patch, yes I could have done a better job with help and more material. Oh well its a NFL football man cave coach, a throw blanket will cover it. Go Lions! :)I am not sure if its real leather or Naugahyde. Heard the last Nauga was shot 2 years ago :)
