Realistic? Not so much…
This turtle is LOUD. My god is it loud. It requires AA batteries in the controller to run, and all of the instructions are printed on the box. The controller has 3 frequencies, A, B, and C, and I'm not sure what the difference is. There are only two buttons. One of them will make the turtle roll forward, while the other will spin it to the right as long as you're holding it down. There is no way to turn it to the left or reverse it. While moving, the turtle rapidly flails all its legs, but they don't actually touch the ground. All that being said, it made me laugh. The turtle fits in the palm of my hand and absolutely fascinated my cats. If it were quieter, I'm sure they'd actually be interested in playing with it. It took a while for me to figure out how to recharge the turtle, though, as it has a tiny little charging port on its belly but didn't seem to come with a cable. Turns out you have to open a door in the side of the controller and pull out a very short yellow charging cord. This is not exactly a convenient way to charge, as the cord is too short for the turtle and the controller to sit on a table side by side, but it does mean you never have to wonder where the charging cord went. It's not the easiest to put back inside the controller, though, and if you don't get it right, you might not be able to get the charging door closed on your first or fifth try (or you might get the charger stuck inside the controller and need to get something to pull it out with, like tweezers.

Doesn't work
The only thing that works is the button to turn in a circle and that works for only for a couple of steps then stops that's it.If it worked It would have been a cute toy.I gave it 2 stars for cuteness instead of 1
