We were looking for mid century modern nightstands with a little more character. Most that we found were expensive and bland. These came well packaged and were easy to assemble—though some of the sticker labels for parts were mismatched from the instructions. Just pay attention to the number of holes shown in the diagrams.One complaint is that these are advertised to have a “veneer”—which I always believed to mean a thin layer of real wood. These have a laminate finish that is not wood. They are still beautiful and will serve their purpose well. You can’t beat the price when they are on sale.One was flawless with no damage. The second box had a few very minor nicks on the legs that must have been damaged at the factory—they were well packaged. A furniture crayon should hide them easily.Overall, great price for MCM style nightstands. We will be purchasing some glass to protect the top surface for long-term use.

I have no problem whatsoever with the quality of this item for the money. You get what you pay for, so if you don't like it, go spend several times more. I will get use out of this piece for what I spent although, one piece was mislabeled with the wrong letter. I figured out the right piece by looking at the diagram and matching the piece in the box by what piece looked the most like the diagram in the instruction booklet. The only complaint I have is that to use this for an end table, it needs to be longer depthwise from front to back. It would make a better night stand than end table. I guess that's why they call it a "side table". I bought it because I had the matching coffee table and wanted an end table that matched.

The media could not be loaded.  I am very happy with these side tables. They were delivered fast and packaged well. Each table/box weighed maybe less than 10 lbs so easy to carry.It took me, a 50 year old woman, about 40 minutes to put together the first one. The 2nd side table took me probably 30 minutes from beginning to end. Easy to assemble with good picture directions. Only tool needed is a Phillips screwdriver. The walnut color is nice.Once assembled they feel sturdy and I’ve experienced no issues with the drawers gliding properly or being misaligned. Overall I’m very pleased with them. They’re a great value for the money. I also purchased the matching coffee table and feel the same about it.

This product works great, was easy to assemble, and overall looks pretty nice for the price. The casters on the drawers are exceptionally smooth. I wish every drawer opened and closed so easily.That being said, I had to knock off two stars for the chemical smell. Yes it's THAT bad. When I first got this, I left it outside for 10 days with the drawers open to air it out. The smell never really went away. I've had it for 11 months now and every time I open the drawer I think "Oh crap, do I have electrical wires burning? Wait no, that's just how that drawer smells."So beware, if you're scent-sitive, this is not for you.

I'd like to give these end tables 2.5 stars, but that isn't a thing on Amazon. They are very pretty, but it is built of particle board that is only a few levels better than pressed cardboard. These DO need to be assembled, and although the directions are straight forward, the flimsiness of the material made assembling the drawers a little tricky. I did have to disassemble and reassemble one of them, but then I learned from my mistake. I think they will be fine in my office, as I am using them mainly to hold my lamps. I would not have them in my home as nightstands, as I think they would start to fall apart after a year of household use.

PERFECT SIZE AND PERFECT BRASS FINISH.

Perfect compact nightstands that fit perfectly on both sides of my bed. What sold me was the nice bronze trim on the feet and the classy front panels. I didn’t like other pieces In my price range because the knobs usually looked pretty cheap. Love these side tables.

I saw other reviews that made me doubt the quality of these but I decided to give them a try and ordered 2 for my guest room. I was impressed with the quality and ease of assembly. My only complaint was that one screw (channel lock) was missing that was crucial for assembling the drawer. It was a special screw that works with those locking bolt things. But luckily I had one leftover from some old ikea project. Overall I love the look of these pieces and they look great in my room.
