Very fun little car
Bought this for our son. He loves it. It's a little smaller than the pictures make it seem. Very quick and battery life is quite good.

This was purchased over a year ago and still going strong. Child was 9 years old at time and perfect timing for his age. He runs it all over his home and then in spring and summer outdoors. One time he forgot and left in rain, and thankfully still going strong, not that we would recommend this. Great value and nice car. Would recommend to buy.

These cars are *very* fast. Too fast for a child under 12- 14 years old to control. I think a lot these reviews don't understand what 30mph really looks like. Your 6yr old will break this. I bought 4 different Bezgar trucks (HM161, HM162, HM163, & HP161) for myself and my 3 boys for Christmas (2022). The HP161 is the fastest and most modern, however, it has plastic components in the driveline where the HP161S is an all metal driveline & brushless motor. This truck still does wheelies just fine though. These trucks can take a real beating, and as we've enjoyed them parts have failed. I find myself slowly turning this base model in to the upgraded version 1 parts order at a time. The Bezgar site has a good deal on them and as much fun as this truck is, I wish I bought the "S" for the extra $60 or $70. The HM163 would be my next pick as it has a full metal driveline & 1k mAh battery, but still a brushed motor. HM161 / HM162 are essentially all plastic, 750mAh battery, and the same frame with different bodies. Although upgradeable, you could start off higher up the ladder for a similar price with the HP161 or HM163. Hope this helps! Have fun!

The Remote is a little on the cheep side, which hasn't affected performance. So far the unit has preformed well. Time will tell about the endurance. The wheele bar didn't fit well so I didn't use it.

I am a fan of remote control cars and I buy a new one every year. I want to say that this Bezgar HP161 is the best I have bought in this range for its clean and high quality manufacturing. the components look fine and the connections rigid. It comes with a powerful motor that propels it 4x4 with great accelerations and two batteries for more play time. In the attached photos you can see how well designed this car comes. it is flawless. the best price benefit. I recommend it.

BUYER BEWARE, the RC truck was awesome! For 3 days? It was fast and fun but after only having it for 3 days the radio is malfunctioning. After charging the batteries and putting one into the truck it connects to the remote and will drive for around 5 seconds, then all forward and backward motion stops and the truck won’t operate. The wheels still respond and turn and the led lights will turn on and off but the small red radio receiver led blinks red and you can’t drive the truck. If you power it off and back on it will do the same thing, drive for a few seconds and then no more movement. I know for the price I shouldn’t be too surprised but with all the previous reviews we thought it would be safe. I would say that the ratings of the reviews seems sus, I guess the good thing is it didn’t even last 3 days so I can still return it but we will opt for a more reliable truck. BUYER BEWARE!
