Perfect beginner amp
Listen - the reviews and complaints levied against this amp are all fair. It’s not very loud, the distortion is a joke, and the hardware is likely subpar. Here’s the thing that it seems we have all forgotten - this amp weighs like, a pound. You can take it anywhere that has a power hookup without hurting yourself. It’s clear channel sounds absolutely fine (kinda hard to mess up) - and while I think it’s an affront to rock music - at least the amp offers a distortion option. This amp is exactly what you’d expect a cheap beginner amp to be, and for the price I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.If you’re just starting out - or have a child or friend who’s beginning their journey I don’t think you should overlook this amp.And if you’re looking for a small amp to just throw around and bring with you when you’re out of the house and going to be playing in a hotel room or a families/friends house and you’re going to try to not bother the entire house - this is still a totally solid pick.Go in knowing what it is and you’ll find you’re having a better experience with it than hoped! Bonus - it has an aux hookup so you can play music from your phone through the amp and pretend you’re playing with your favorite band!

Great lightweight amp for beginners/students OR curb music
Here is the T. It’s under $40 and for a 20w amp that’s a great inexpensive deal. I don’t think anyone who is actually making money in the music biz would probably be writing a review on this amp so there is that. So take all the complaints and over explanations for what they are lol. It’s a great lightweight amp that works perfectly fine. As far as the sound being loud. It’s loud enough. If you are a parent with a child learning you probably don’t want it to blow you back in the chair. At least I don’t. I don’t even have to buy headphones because with the door closed it’s muffled enough. As long as it doesn’t die in the first year I think it was a great purchase. Take it for what it is an inexpensive amp not really made for professional use but most people would understand that part.

Seriously, it's quite, but that's not necessarily bad.
First off, if this thing turns on and passes through the sound of an electric guitar, it's a success. The price makes up for any complaints. But, when people say it's quite, they mean it can't be heard over a normal conversation. If you have a noisey fan or AC unit. It could drown it out. I like that it has an aux input but there is no volume on the auxiliary and that is depressingly quite to the point of not use able. The best application is to sit on the floor with it or have it face you no more than a few feet away. Great for kids to practice with, but is not really practical outside that nitch. The quite, the price, it's kind of a dream solution.

Great amp
Great amp sound quality is great for beginner but not for powerful playing.

Very Quiet
Sounds legit pretty clean, but IT IS QUIET. Definitely not 20W, but you get what you pay for.

I was impressed when I opened the carton.
I didn’t want to spend too much as a new music student but there are things that you need to start. With an electric guitar you must have an amp. This one looks and feels professional. It is compact enough to be easily portable, has a good sound and I will be proud to bring it to practice with friends and family who are musicians. It has all the right adjustments and allows me to practice with my headphones so I won’t frighten any cats in the neighborhood.I have no intention of ever playing on stage, but in a small setting it should be more than adequate.

The price was great!
Works really well in a smallish area. So light you can carry it anywhere. So easy to use, too.
