Q: Hi do you have a link to which needles I should get to replace old ones for this machine please?

Hi no I don't have a link but if you go on ebay and put in the name of the machine they will come up.

Q: Is the machine easy to thread and also can it be used without the knee pad on.

It is easy to thread but I just use invisible thread so. Don't need to change it, don't think it can be used without the knee pad!!

Q: Would this machine work well for small hems? I use a 1cm hem for aprons and wonder if it works with them. All the videos show wide hems!

It would need a bit of practice but I reckon you could do it. I hem curtains and that took practice and now it's dead easy. Hope this helps

No there can be nothing in the way as it hookes the fabric up.
