Great "minimalist" holster for LCP 2
Wow.. so far I'm really impressed.. (UPDATE: I've now been carrying with this for about a week and it is very comfy, rides well, gun sits flush against your side with no flopping about, and the smaller clip really holds the holster tight to the belt.) Overall I'm really impressed with this holster.. First off I read another review about being able to order with a 1.5" belt clip to fit my 5.11 carry belt.. So I went ahead and emailed the seller after ordering... and within less than an hour they responded that they would ship it with the smaller belt clip..GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE... Second this arrived in on 3rd day, even though it was not listed as prime...again... great customer service. OK.. the holster itself... the overall fit and finish is top notch.. better than any other Kydex holster I own. The molding is spot on with the LCP 2, it is well formed and covers where you need it to, but also is cut low enough to allow an easy grip on the handle when drawing from IWB. Ps.. the gun sits fairly low on your waistline... the bottom of the grip is just above the pantline.. this makes for a comfortable carry and makes for good concealment. The holster was set up for easy draw without any adjustment to the retention screw. The gun easily slips into the holster and has a good "snap" when it is fully seated thanks to the trigger guard molding being done just right.. The gun pops free easily when drawing and is snag free all the way out of the holster. As you can see in the attached pictures there is no extra material sticking out at the bottom of the holster.. its been very nicely trimmed to give you a comfortable fit without any sharp edges. The Clip is great.. it is just wide enough at 1.5" (custom ordered) to snap onto my gun belt with no extra room to allow it to be sloppy. The clip stands off of the holster enough to fit through my double thick gun belt (5.11 double duty) with ease and the hook at the bottom of the clip fully hooks under the edge of the belt. There is a little tab that makes unhooking the clip easy enough. There is no cant adjustment so the gun rides pretty strait up and down. I think this is fine for such a small gun.. The way the kydex runs up the side of the gun keeps the slide off your body and will keep any sharp edges away from you.. P.S. the knurling on the grip of the LCP 2 is pretty aggressive and may rub your skin, causing irritation.. so you may think of wearing an undershirt with this gun...unless you want to take a little sandpaper to the grip to smooth things down a bit. Add in the great price of $30 for Carbon Fiber Kydex (which looks really nice) and you can't go wrong with this little holster.. Thanks for not charging extra like most companies do for the Carbon Fiber pattern.. I'll update this review once I get some real carry time in with this holster...

First and last holster you'll ever need for the Ruger LCP II
Purchased this as my first holster for a little over a year ago about a month after I got my first gun, the Ruger LCP 2. Long story short, my holster search started and ended with this as there was no need to pursue another. One year later I still carry this to this day with extreme confidence in any situation. Pros: Perfect for new shooters and carrying. Comfortable and no printing design makes sure you won't decide to leave at home. Perfect for appendix carry No printing whatsoever, even in gym shorts and light t-shirt. You can easily forget you even have this on. Easy on/easy off quick clip for 'grab n go' moments Excellent retention with solid snap Good ride height for fast draw without sacrificing comfort It's so small, why bother with a spare mag when you could appendix carry two with great ease (see picture for example) Cons: Potentially prints if you appendix carry into a headwind. (Ex. walking through a parking lot) Holster isn't ambidextrous for left-handed shooters, but this gave excuse to buy second one. This holster matched with the LCP 2 has made my beginner experience as a gun owner and concealed carrier a pleasure. It inspires complete confidence while easing a lot of initial concerns one may have. Start here before you move up to a larger size firearm.

This is the perfect IWB kydex holster for an LCP II !
It's hard to find good kydex molded holsters for .380's since many people pocket carry a .380. This holster is molded to the LCP II perfectly! The trigger guard is completely covered by this holster. I'm hesitant about pocket carrying my LCP II with a loaded chamber sometimes because of its light weight single action trigger. (Most .380s are double action only, with heavy triggers) And accidents can happen with light weight fabric holsters that bunch up or have sloppy retention. This holster solves those problems for IWB carry. You can adjust the retention and the cant angle of the clip by loosening a screw. It comes with a vertical straight cant clip setting but you can adjust it if you like to angled for comfort and easy access. It is hard kydex so it will be durable but stiffer and less comfortable than fabric/leather holsters but it's so small already don't worry about comfort over safety.

Good quality for the price
Good quality holster with nice packaging. Excellent price. Knocked off one star for really slow shipping.

Excellent holster!
I am a licensed, professional firearms instructor and I find this to be a great holster at a good price. I use it to carry a Ruger LCP and I have been practicing with it quite a bit with no problems. Holster is very rigid so no concerns with it collapsing and causing problems during reholstering. Clip holds on to a belt or just a waistband very firmly (sometimes it's hard to get it to let go when removing the holster). Trigger is completely covered by the rigid holster material and the magazine eject button is partially covered as well. I believe this to be one of the best holsters i have purchased in a while and I will purchase other holsters from this company in the future.

Stop looking and buy this holster!
Being a little on the heavy side, I have shied away form IWB holsters. Have tried several OWB holsters, but even with a smaller gun (Ruger LCP 2), there was still "printing" through shirts. I tried pocket holsters but was concerned about the time it took to draw it if necessary. Recently a friend of "like-size" got an IWB and loved it. I researched for an hour or so to find the best one without spending a fortune and ultimately settled on the Black Jacket Holster. For less than $30 and a solid build, it would be tough to find it's equal. It rides great, fits great and I don't even know it's there. Stop looking and buy this holster! You won't be disappointed.
