It's easy to install and the strobe pattern is awesome

I sometimes deliver groceries or packages and get sent out to the boonies at night. I don't like being on dark dirt roads in what feels like the middle of nowhere. I often lose cell reception, too, so it can be pretty scary. When I saw these lights, I decided to grab a set more for protection than anything else. If I should break down, I can just turn on these lights to help with locating me. I could also use them if I'm delivering a lot of packages to the same street so people know I'm working.They are SO bright! There is a control panel that allows you to change the patterns of the lights as they are flashing. They can blink or roll, etc., but I think what I like the most is that there is an on/off switch directly on the 12v adapter. I hate having to plug and unplug things from my cigarette lighter. I have more than one 12v connection in my van so I can still charge my other accessories with the main one, and then hit the switch on these lights as needed.The suction is great and I'm using them on a minivan right now. I haven't yet had to use them in the heat but I expect with as big as the suction cups are, they will hold up through it.

This is a solid 3-star product, but the price earns it another star.The light is bright enough, but not the brightest. When it's set to a solid setting, you can observe that it doesn't actually stay on very well; it flickers ever so slightly. This is unnoticeable when strobing.The mounting and suction mechanism are fine.A bit of light bleeds into the car, other brands do a bit better.My biggest pet peeve is that the wires do not detach from the lights. That means you cannot easily dismount and remount the lights without running the wires another time. This is incredibly annoying as I cannot have these lights on my vehicle all the time.For the price this is a very good buy, but I would pay another few dollars to be able to disconnect the wires at the light end of it.

If you are in the market for some emergency style safety lights and want the brightest with the most modes and customization then these are the ones. These are mounted and ready to go in 5 minutes with ease. I'm so glad they did the suction cups the way they did and there's no messing with multiple brackets and nuts with bolts. Just slide the suction cups on through the slots and pop it on the window. Plug the power into the 12v plug and click the button on and now you have all the control at the little control panel ready to go. So glad they made a seperate way to turn these on and go through the modes instead of making the on off button and modes right at the power plug. This way you can mount the panel somewhere comfortable and easy to get to instead of digging in the center console trying to find where its plugged in at and clicking the button. Everything you need is included and you can immediately tell these are amazing once you open the package. The quality is there and you can tell these were not just slapped together without care. The brightness is blinding and the modes are endless. Everything about these are amazing and I highly recommend.

These are perfect for mounting between your rear view mirror. The suction cups weren't the best. It took me many tries to get them to hold for longer than a few hours. The lights are super bright though. Real attention getter - which is why you'd buy this!

These lights grab attention! I put these in my rear window and they punch through the stock tint with no issues. The pattern selection is easy to use. It’s easy to power and control. The included switch panel actually illustrates the pattern when you select it, which is a nice touch.Overall, if you need some extra warning power, give this a hard look!

The suction cups are really iffy. That said, most suction cup held devices are the same. I wouldn't trust mounting it by them.The lights themselves are bright enough. The plastic contruction is average. This is no Whelan unit or price point. They will do the job I have for them. I would like to see how they stand up after an extended time.

This review is based on mounting these lights to the top section of the front windshield or higher. My husband and I both drive GMC Yukons …different year models / body styles and we were not able to find a way to mount these temporarily in either of our models.The lights work very well, have great light pattern options and the construction quality is excellent.If we wanted to do a permanent mount they would work extremely well. But since the light bars come with suction cups indicating the user should be able to mount them on a temporary basis….it didn’t work for us….they could sit on the dash but this is not the way they were shown in the sellers listing, not the way we wanted to use them as well as not the method they are typically used by emergency vehicles / reserve officers. The lights could be sat on the dash after arriving on scene but that takes away much of the convenience of use. The SUV style vehicles don’t have a rear window deck like cars …but I can see that this would be an excellent option for vehicles with this feature.So 3 stars since the quality and function of the light bars from XRIDONSEN is excellent. But, the versatility to use on a temporary basis in either of our vehicles just isn’t there. These lights would be great if you plan to permanently mount them into the plastic trim above the windshield or headliner area on a Chevrolet / GMC full size SUV from 2000-2006 & 2007-2014 but we could not find a way to mount them on a temporary basis to the upper windshield of these models with the provided suction cups.
