High School DxD, Vol. 1: Volume 1 (HIGH SCHOOL DXD GN)

Having just finished the anime recently, I decided to start reading this, the manga, and what can I say, whether or not you have seen the anime, this is 100% worth getting. It's just a fun light read, after watching/reading other darker material. There are only (currently) 8 volumes of this on going manga series too (in English) so you can easily catch up!

Love it! I finished watching season 4 and decided to buy the books because I absolutely love the series!! Definitely worth the money.I'll be buying more of the high school dxd volumes!

I really enjoyed watching the anime of Highschool DXD so i thought i'd give the manga a try and i wasn't disappointedThe art and story are amazing a lot of fight scenes with hints of romance and a main character with his own average generic harembut you won't stop wanting to read this

I was quite new to the series - was suggested to me by a friend. After this volume I was hooked, the supernatural theme is enjoyable and the characters a fun as well as funny to boot. Would suggest for fans of supernatural elements, good humour and the occasional ecchi moments.

Everything went just fine. The manga is unharmed and it even came earlier then expected!As for the manga itself , you should definitely buy it! It may very well be your first step into one of the best stories , High School DxD.

A really enjoy this series. It's not just another Ecchi manga but one that has a really good story. About a boy called Issei who became a devil after Rias Gremory another devil, who saved his life.

Great art style. Well translated

Issei, a high school boy, thinks his first date with the hot Yuuma is ending with a hot kiss in a dark park. He's eager for it. Instead, black wings sprout from her back as she apologizes before ramming as spear into his chest. As his life spills from him, he wishes to die in the arms of a beautiful babe.He wakes up the next day in bed very much alive, confused. Weirder, no one seems to remember Yuuma at his school. Not sure what is going on, he continues about his day. Once again, at night, he's accosted by a man who sprouts black wings and a spear. Stabbed again, he can't believe he's about to die. Until Rias, one of the hottest girls at his school, appears and defends him.Once again, he wakes up in bed. Only this time, he's naked and hugged tight by the equally nude Rias.Issei is plunged into a world of angels and demons. No longer human, he's going to have to learn the rules in order to survive.High School DxD is a fun manga. It's got some sexy bits, some great heart, humor, interesting characters, and balls-crazy action. When things kick off in this series, it goes for broke. It's an interesting story, with characters in conflict with each other. The art's great.If you're looking for a good manga to read with a supernatural bent, then you should try out High School DxD
