Love this camera! It was super easy to set up, the image is clear and sharp and I love the privacy shield so you are not always being recorded and can use when needed. The app is very user friendly and I love the small video clips that show me what crazy things my dogs do when I am gone. The motion detection (and people vs. animal detection) is great, the custom settings are nice, overall a great buy. The only thing is it uses more bandwidth than our previous cameras so it can slow internet speed if you do not have fiber.

I received these in December 2024 and have been using them since. I have held off on a review because my initial review would have been terrible, and it still will be.My husband purchased these for me because I was worried about my elderly dogs at home. He states (and now this is my husband, so who knows) that he did a lot of research to find cameras that I would not need to pay for any type of plan. These are KINDA usable without a plan, you can still arm away and arm home but you no longer get recordings of motion detections. AND EVERY SINCE THE FREE TRIAL RAN OUT THE CONNECTIVITY OF THESE JUNK CAMERAS HAS GONE BAD.Sound Quality= Bad works sometimesValue for Money= buy the more expensive ones these are awfulSet up= Pretty simpleThe amount of time these cameras spend buffering and connecting is outrageous and makes me so angry when I try to check on my dogs, but these stupid cameras do nothing but buffer and try to connect.
