A Pricey, Yet Premium Solution for Preserving Boot Excellence
I've been using the CedarSavers Cedar Boot Trees daily for the past two months, and I must say, they've been a game-changer for my almost new boots. Right out of the gate, the most noticeable impact was on the freshness of my boots. The natural aromatic cedar not only kept them smelling great but also impeccably maintained their shape.Pros:Effective Moisture and Odor Control: The cedar's natural properties have kept my boots fresh, addressing both shape retention and odor prevention.Quality Construction: The materials feel premium, indicating durability and long-term use.Perfect Fit: They slid into my boots with ease, precisely as expected, showcasing their well-thought-out design for various boot sizes.Bonus Storage Bag: Although I haven't found a use for the included high-quality storage bag, it's a nice touch and indicative of the thoughtfulness behind the product.Cons:Price Point: My only gripe is the cost. While I appreciate the value they bring, a more accessible price would make these boot trees a no-brainer for even wider adoption. In conclusion, if you're serious about boot care and are willing to invest a bit more for top-notch quality, the CedarSavers Cedar Boot Trees are a solid choice. They do exactly what they're supposed to do and do it well. The inclusion of a high-quality storage bag, even if not used for its intended purpose, speaks volumes about the brand's commitment to delivering value. While the price may be steep, the benefits of odor control, shape maintenance, and the overall premium build justify the investment. A highly recommended product for those looking to extend the life and appearance of their boots.

Cedar boot trees
Cedar boot trees can be very expensive. These are decent and have not fallen apart after months of use.

Retain your boots shape and keep them smelling good!
When I finally invested in my first pair of Redwing Iron Rangers, I knew I wanted to take care of them and keep them in the best shape I could. I did some research and knew that cedar tree's were a must have not only to help the boots retain their shape - but also to manage moisture in the leather. I bought these CedarSavers cedar trees as they were 1-2 times cheaper than some of the name brand sets I saw at my local shoe repair shop.I think these CedarSavers are plenty good enough for what I'm doing. To be fair, they're the only set I've tried so I don't have too much to compare them to. But they fit snug and help keep the toe sections of the boots from collapsing. I do think they help with smell, as cedar is fairly absorbent and my boots still smell like fresh leather even after 8+ hour long days wearing them. One minor complaint is that the golden pull knobs at the top unscrew very easily and come loose pretty much every time I pull on them or remove them from my boots. Some wood glue should fix this, but it's a minor annoyance and an extra step I don't feel I should have to do. If not for this I would've given them 5 stars.

Cobblers Choice is Better Quality
I bought these and a set from Cobblers Choice. Inside of the box is splattered in cedar oil. The boot trees have sticky chalky sappy spots on them. The spring mechanism also seems loose compared to the other brand I bought here on Amazon. Not sure if I’m keeping them or returning.Edit: Updating my review. The oily chalky stuff wiped off easy. Compared to Cobblers Choice the spring is a bit less strong but I appreciate the width of toe and I like the size of it compared to Cobblers Choice and Cedar Space. I wear size 9 and bought the large 9-10.5 in Cedar Savers and feel these are perfect size. Cobblers Choice I have in 8-9.5 has a stronger spring but is a tiny bit undersized. The Cedar Space in 8-9.5 is way too small. But that’s how they sell their sizes. In this photo I have the heel up against a flat surface.

Broken on arrival; bad manufacturing
Broken on arrival into multiple pieces with weird shiny metal glitter all over the cut pieces. Cannot recommend. Feels fragile in all respects.

Well made, but too small for size 12 Thursday Chelsea boots
The media could not be loaded. I bought these for a pair of US size 12 Chelseas by Thursday Boots. The shoe trees are well made and have a nice cedar smell, but they’re too small to provide any mitigation of creasing on the boots. They don’t even extend to the end of the toe (see above video). I’ll hold onto them since they work well enough for a smaller pair of shoes I own, but the search continues.

These work well - using them in my Ariat's.
Using these in my bench made Ariat gators. They work as advertised - no issues!
