Superb .use a good power supply
This is superb!! Coupled with a high power power bank I can power my different laptops and charge my Solar generator. Essential to use a high watt power supply (mine is 65W).

Functions as expected. Retains last voltage setting. Ignore 'damage' reports.
Ignore reviews which speak of overvoltage conditions and damage being done, the reviewers clearly fail to understand how these devices operate and what they are doing. Their purpose is only to negotiate the desired voltage profile with the power supply to which they're attached. If the supply doesn't support USB PD, or if it does but doesn't support the requested voltage level, then it clearly isn't going to work. Equally, if a negotiation succeeds, it is the power supply that is entirely responsible for regulation of the agreed supply voltage and current. This device itself has no active power regulation or protection capabilities whatsoever - whatever is required in that regard must be an available feature of the USB supply that you use it with.Mine works without issue in conjunction with the 45watt port of an Anker PowerPort Atom III, with all of the voltage profiles that the Anker supports being available for selection (5v, 9v, 15v and 20v). Voltages are spot-on, as measured. Again, this being down to the Anker supply, not the PD cable.A very useful feature is that the voltage selection last made is retained on next power-on.

not always compatible
works well in some cases and does not in others. sensitive to power in and out. bought 4, use all daily

Does the job
Works well for my needs. Used with telescope and other items and provides power as needed. Might be obvious but the connector DC numbers relate to the size of the socket/plug. e.g. DC5525 is 5.5mm OD x 2.5mm ID (outer and Inner diameter). DC5521 is 5.5mm x 2.1mm and so on. Might help someone although for the life of me I don't know why there are so many sizes!

Powered wireless DMX transmitter
This is amazing. Used at 9v to power a wireless dmx transmitter using a 20,000 mAH PD power bank. Worked smoothly. The power bank also had my wolfmix w1 mk2 plug in simultaneously. 3+ hours of controlling uplight with those, zero issues

Not working
Doesn’t appear to be working. Coming out of powerbank via USB C, plug into 27watt guitar unit, switch to 9v and get error, will only show 5v. Tried polarity reversal and same issue. Current of unit is around 1A. Not sure if I have a faulty unit!

Brilliant bit of kit, wish the cable was longer
This does exactly what I wanted it to do - provide DC power at varying levels to various devices that otherwise want a wall wart, from a simple USB C PD supply. Excellent.I only wish the cable was a reasonable length -1.8m would be far more useful than the 0.9m provided.
