Easy install. My chime broke so all I needed was the chime. I removed my old one and install was easy. I have to paint where the old unit was as I couldn't position it exactly where the old one was. However I have ding dong again. First time replacing a doorbell without instructions or watching any videos so just a chime was easy. The transformer was connected to my power box so I just replaced the chime. You may need an electrician for a transformer change.Thanks!Now just waiting on Nest to ship my doorbell button camera.

Simple to install. I didn't need anything fancy comes with transformer. Recently rewired house. Mounted this to a metal junction box. Giving for stars due to push buttons are very flimsy. Will be buying metal ones.

Functions well. My mother, 89, and has trouble hearing, can hear the doorbell fine. my only gripe is cheesy looking white plastic cover. I substituted a more stylish push button assembly that closely matched the motif of our entry area.

Comes with everything you need except wire. Easy to install if you have a electrical background.

This product was exactly what I expected and am happy with it. Works just as described. It was a new installation in an existing home so I had to run new wiring but once it was all done, it works well. Small footprint, clean lines. It's a doorbell so I can't get too excited but I would recommend it.

This doorbell is definitely cheap quality. I expected it to be louder than it was. It was not very loud at all. Would be best in 1500 sq ft houses or less as the sound doesn't travel far. The tone seems oddly sharp on the first note and flat on the second.

I wanted to replace my ancient door bell without adding much cost, and I needed the slimmest button to fit in a tiny space near my front door, and this bell worked great! It was easy to replace, and I especially like the lighted button, no one can miss it!

If you have a rental and need a doorbell then this is the one to buy. However, if you need a nice doorbell for your forever home I would get a higher quality and louder model. So far though when the button is pushed, it dings, so mission accomplished.
