Beautiful and comfy in the the hand while sipping tea.
The mug is wonderfully detailed and a delight to use. With that said, the decorations are painted on, so don't clean the mug with a scrubber! A cloth or soft sponge will work just fine. It can be a bit of a nuisance to get into the little round sections that house the mesh to properly clean, but every cup of tea has been great.The mug has a fairly rough and rocky finish to it on the outside. If you prefer to have mugs with a smooth finish, this isn't the one for you.

Great for loose tea, stiff hands
Convenient, mess-free way to brew a cup of loose leaf tea. Mug & lid help keep it warm but do not put it in a microwave oven. The slanted wooden handle is so nice for those of us with keyboard/mouse-injured hands!

So disappointed
I was so excited for this thing to brew/drink my tea. It looks and feels amazing, and it does what it's supposed to.The issue is it keeps imparting an awful chemical taste in my drinks. I've tried washing and soaking it, but anything I put in it becomes undrinkable. It's horrible.

Fragile, maybe dangerous. Broke after few uses
The media could not be loaded. Handle broke off after a few uses. Very bad handle design. Handle can brake and will spill hot fluids on yourself.
