These fitted and were better value for money than the official ones

We have been buying these since we bought our Samsung fridge about 8 years ago. they fit perfectly into our Samsung fridge and lasts about 6-7 months depending on how much water you drink. We drink a LOT of water.Instructions says to decant about 10L when replacing the filter before you start using it, so this is what we have been doing. water tastes great and our family prefer this water to bottled water.

Pack of 3 is good value for money as the filter usually needs to be changed every 6 months. When I opened the box the filters had a different code reference from what was specified but they fitted fine and are identical to the DA29-00003G, otherwise they would have been sent back.

Better value than Samsung branded and work just as well. Just check your fitting as Samsung used a few different in different markets.

East to install. Can’t fault it.

Worked totally fine in our 2015 Samsung American fridge. I really did not want to pay Samsung £60 for a water filter and considered going back to using our little Britta filter as I had several spare cartridges, but I had often enjoyed using the ice maker on the fridge and I like my water to be quite cold too so I decided I would give these compatible cartridges a shot.It worked 100% perfectly for the last month now and no reason to think it will fail. It has been certified by national science foundation (would be nice if it were done by a European standard but I'm sure NSF know their stuff) that it removes all the nasty stuff from the water. It seems just fine to me, we live in a hard water area and I often saw bits floating about in water straight from the tap... I don't see anything but pure clear clean water when I use this in my fridge so I'm very happy given the price. I just hope they don't get greedy and start bumping up the price....

I have been buying the genuine Samsung filters for many years. They are more expensive but I always worked on the basis that tap water tastes awful where we are and we use it all the time so, compared to bottled water it's cheap. When I replaced the genuine unit last time the water flow was really reduced, filling a glass took a lot longer and the water always seemed warmer than it had been before, for what ever reason.When I went to order from Pozzani this time, the price of the original had gone up by 70% in 6 months!I looked around for a replacement non-genuine filter on Amazon and found this one. Waterdrop seemed like a good brand when I did some research and this had good Amazon reviews so I decided to give it a try.The filter works perfectly. Water tastes as it should, flow rate is back to what it should be. Overall I'm very happy. Particularly as it cost a quarter of the price of the original... shame on you Samsung - thank you Waterdrop!
