Barebones controllers, but great overall.
Pros:• Lightweight• Sturdy build quality• Comfortable design• Larger thumbsticks• Soft press ABXY buttonsCons:• Stiff dpad• Home/Capture buttons close to Assign/Turbo buttons• No NFC/Wireless/Motion controls/RumbleThese are really nice controllers. The buttons all feel really nice, with the exception of the dpad feeling overly stiff. It can sometimes be hard to press, although I haven't played anything that relies on the dpad to get a proper feel for it yet. The controllers are lightweight, but that works in their favour, in my opinion, as they decrease the weight of the overall Switch in handheld mode. It's not a huge difference but, compared to controllers that have rumble and those other features, it makes a huge difference.Overall, I really like these controllers. They may be missing a lot of features the Joy-con have but, for the most part, those features aren't entirely necessary for most games. The one thing I wish they had is motion controls, but I'm not too bothered by that personally. The larger, thicker, design makes the switch much easier to hold onto in handheld mode and I feel this design perfectly rides the line between full grip style controllers and the original Joy-con style. If you don't mind the barebones nature of these controllers, no battery, NFC, wireless, etc, then these are really great controllers, and I would definitely recommend picking them up if you're looking for a slightly simpler Joy-con replacement.

Best joy cons!
Wish I had gotten these forever ago. They make playing my switch in handheld mode so much more comfortable and the joysticks are so much better than standard Nintendo ones. I also enjoy the rear buttons to make some moves a little easier for me!

Great controllers.
These are the best switch controllers I have used for playing in a handheld mode. They lack a battery and wireless connectivity which could seem like a downside until you realize the weight reduction as it makes playing in handheld mode for extended periods like I do far more comfortable. Joycons suck as there is nothing to grip on to, said as a man with large hands. These solve that problem and do it at a reduced weight to other controllers. After all the praise why only 4 stars...The first drawback to these are the programmable buttons's led lights as I can't use the buttons as they hurt my eyes. That said my eyes are incredibly light sensitive and I don't go a day without shades and I only use dim lighting in my home. The second is the actual price as they lack a battery and wireless connectivity there is no reason for them to cost so much when they are not on sale. I paid $40 but this controller platform off sale is far more expensive than it should be.

Better Than Nintendo Joycon
This is a great joycon controller. You can actually play an fps game because the thumb sticks are like the Pro Controller

Light weight, cheap, work great
My son keeps breaking his official Nintendo joycons, so I took a shot at a cheaper pair. These being licensed by Nintendo gave me a little more confidence. These are lighter, cheaper, more comfortable and work great.

Broken straight out of the box
left control stick had drift straight out of the box, and the B button stopped working after like five presses. trash.

Not wireless
I should have realized it wasn’t Bluetooth which is devastating because other than that it’s perfect, but who on earth uses a handheld exclusive switch
