Wm.Widdop Quartz Alarm Clock - Green Leaf Design

I had an old digital clock/alarm which was slowing misbehaving. I chose this small and pretty analogue alarm clock and I'm so glad that I did. It doesn’t have a ticking sound, which is great, and the number of times that I've use the alarm it's been perfect. I'm very happy with this clock and the excellent service of the seller.

I like the clock face and dial, but the controls are a bit fiddly and it is difficult to read the time when it is dark because the light in the clock doesn’t light up the whole face.

It’s quiet but not a silent sweep so I have to keep it at least 3- 4 feet away from me, or put it in a drawer!

I thought this was pretty and wanted a small, silent alarm clock at a reasonable price. It's cute but not silent - no tick but a constant slight 'whirring' sound as the second hand 'sweeps'. I am a light sleeper with sensitive hearing but when I'm in bed & the clock on the bedside table I can't hear the whirring, so no problem. The alarm is good - not too loud & not a 'buzz'. All in all, lovely wee alarm clock at a good price :)

Arrived within a few days of ordering and case is as illustrated. It is a pretty little clock with no audible tick but it is not possible to see either the hands or the supposedly luminous dots at each numeral in the dark , so to read the time in the night it is necessary to operate the back light. However the clock is a neat and pretty addition to a bedside table and is a good size to pack as a travel clock . I would recommend this product unless one wants to be able to rely on luminous markings on the hands and dial to read the time in the night , in which case it would disappoint. I purchased this as a replacement for my former clock which only lasted 2 years -- hopefully this will last longer!

I gave it as a Christmas present and it was delightfully received.

I bought his for a friend of mine who is a really lovely person and who is looking for a new job. It is so pretty and dainty just like her and I hope it brings her lots of luck.

the clock I got does NOT match the picture. Otherwise OK.
