I fold it and lay it acrrosd the bottom of the bed. Its perfect if you want to take a nap and cover up with it. I absolutely Love it. It totally finished off the look of my bedroom. It is very nice and I highly recommend it. And it washes up in the was and dryer very nicely. What ever you do, dont sit on the fence wondering if you should buy it or not, just do it, you'll be glad you did. It's definitely a 5 star item. I don’t like heavy covers for sleep, this quilt is soft and not heavy on my arms and legs. It keeps me just the right temperature with cold AC throughout the night. Would order again.
