So silly but so cool

I do not feel confident this would work well in the rain. 2 parts were loose when arrived, which I tightened, and was fine.But not sturdy at all. Might work better on a sunny day without wind. But definitely not for windy rain.

The umbrella was a solid fit and keep shape through the delivery. The metal pommel ans guard made it more likely to survive and the Handel does have a solid grip so that my hands don't move around that much. Good fit for when this does come avaliable.

This was a Christmas gift to my daughter who is hard to buy for. She absolutely was blown away. The carry bag is also clever design

I do a lot of walking outside, and having a good umbrella in the rain and snow becomes a definite must. Especially since I wear glasses. Right off the bat the design is totally fantastic. Looks like a katana in a sheath, which you can thrown over your shoulder and run around like a ninja unitl the cops get called on you.It's got a large size when unfolded. Nice and high too if you got a hat on. With a quick release lever above the hilt. Works as good umbrella all around. But it does have a cheap feel to it. Like a kids toy and not as much heavy dutyness to it. There is at least some metal sections to it.Now I haven't been able to test it in the wind, which is always the make or break challenge with an umbrella. But all and all, I still really like it. It also would make for a perfect cosplay or costume accessory too. Then if it rains, your ready to go!

So to point out the obvious this umbrella was ordered because of the katana style umbrella handle which makes it stand out from your standard run of the mill black umbrella. The umbrella itself honestly is very basic and nothing too special and would probably pass for any standard black umbrella from many other brands out there if not for the standout handle. The handle portion is not bad and is easy to hold onto when open and used on the rain (have already used it over a handle of times for light showers and rain). The sleeve for the umbrella fits well over the umbrella and is snug and comes with a strap which honestly feels too short and makes the umbrella uncomfortable to wear over the shoulder and impossible to strap on crossbody wise which would make it that much cooler if it did. Overall I do enjoy the umbrella and I have already gotten plenty of looks and questioned by some on where they could purchase a similar one for themselves. Would also be a great gift for anyone that are into katanas.
