I bought an XL, a PLUS and a STANDARD one for both mine and my wife's mountain bikes. I had wanted one of these for a while but they never did the plus size fitting that my tyres are - until now. The STANDARD one fits my wife's bike perfectly (2.25" tyre). I ordered the XL and the PLUS size for my 2.8" tyres as Hornit recommend a 'snug fit' on their descriptions stating a 2.8" can be a 2.7" in reality on the tyres. When they arrived, I used the tyre graphic guide on the box (great design packaging by the way) and my 2.8" tyre fitted exactly in the graphic of a 2.7" size. So bear this in mind when buying or fitting!! Hornits recommendations on this were spot on! They do state this on their write up and on their website. I decided to contact them anyway, as I wasn't sure whether to fit the XL or the PLUS size based on the graphic tyre guide. I spoke to Bea Preston Ellis from the company who was fantastic and answered my question of whether I should use the PLUS size CLUG (2.8" - 3.2") or the XL CLUG up to 2.7". Bea recommended the XL size, stating it is better to have a more snug fit.. I fitted it that day and Bea was spot on! My 2.8" fits into the XL size perfectly. Amazing product, simple and effective design. Looks really stylish, easy to install, really only takes 5 minutes per bike. Thank you Hornit for this design and thank you Bea for your advice. I totally recommend this product as a simple and effective way of storing your bikes in your garage or home.

I bought two sizes; mtb (44-57mm) and mtb xl (58-69mm). I tried one bike with 58mm tyres in the mtb size and it did fit but was very tight and required a strong push to engage and remove the tyre, I would think repeated use in this size bracket would probably lead to stress cracking. In the mtb xl it engages quite easily, feels a little loose but does hold the bike without issue. My 2nd bike has 55mm tyre and this fit nice and secure in the mtb size. I would recommend measuring your max tyre width accurately with callipers and buying the recommended size. Installation is simple and item appears good quality. If it fails in future i will update this review.

This is a great product, without doubt. My only criticism is the tyre size range recommendation. We have tyres that are 2.35" so i bought the MTB XL as they start from 2.3", however, this doesn't sit snug and hold the bike wheel vertically. You can balance it precariously but the slightest nudge will knock the bike out resulting in a loud crash! (first hand experience). That said, if you put teh bike up and then angle the front wheel to one side it holds it better. We also bought some mtb size ones and the 2.362 fits really snug and secure so I would recommend going for a smaller size if you are right at the low end of the size range. We also have two bikes with 1.95" wheels which is at the low end of the mtb size range (starting at 1.75"), and these again need to be angled to feel secured. If I hadn't already fitted them all, I might try to exchange them for the hybrid size, but I figure we'll get bikes with bigger tyres in the future so going to make do. Just wanted to share my size findings in case they help anyone. All said and done, they are REALLY easy to fit and do a great job of holding the bikes. Especially mine which fits perfectly! ;o)

Absolutely perfect. Easy to put up, comes with screw placement guide. You can't go wrong. Bike is held comfortably and securely.

The Clug arrived the next day nd appears to be good quality. Its easy to install and super easy to use, provided you get the right size one. The website states using XL for mountainbikes with tyres that are 58mm and above. However the grip of the XL on that size tyres is very weak and the bike flalls out easily. Size L worked well, but it did mean we had to se d the XLs back and reorder L!

Brilliant product. It's so discreet and actually looks good on the wall. Functionality is good as it comfortably holds my road bike out of the way. Installation is easy and there is clear instructions in the little box. The packaging is just sheer genius, every inch of the box is covered in useful instructions or has some other use (e.g measuring tire size, or marking points for drilling). Honestly this is one of the best products I've purchased. It should be in every bike store. 2 months in now and so far so good. Only drawback is that the rear tire must still rest on the floor, but as that's not what the product is designed for I can't really fault it on that.

Great little product. It was really easy to install these and I've been really impressed with how well they hold the bikes. We bought 4, 3 for road bikes and 1 for mountain bike. All went on the wall really easily and whilst they don't look like they will be that secure, they've been brilliant and we've had no issues with any of the bikes. Also look very minimal on the wall which is nice. Bit expensive for such a small piece of plastic but can't fault the quality.

Not impressed. The concept is sound but the sizing range is poorly executed. I bought the roadie version for 23-32mm tyres. It’s way too tight and inflexible for even 28mm tyres, let alone 32mm. You can force a 28mm tyre in, but it puts way too much pressure on it and your tyre for repeated use. I’d say it’s only suitable for 23-26mm tyres max. They need to have another version that’s more properly sized for 28,30,32mm road tyres, which are common now.

El producto cumple con su función perfectamente. La rueda de mi bici es de 25 y se adapta perfectamente. Echo en falta que venga alguna pequeña pieza para que la rueda trasera no toque la pared y no la manche. Yo he tenido que poner un cartón que no es muy estético.

I have two CLUGs... a "MTB 44-57mm" for my bike with 2.1"W tires and a "MTB XL 58-69mm" for my 2.6"W tires. CLUGs make storage a breeze! Sooo much floor space saved!! And honestly it's super attractive storage - I enjoy seeing the bikes there. Snapping the front tires in place and popping them out is super easy. I did listen to the reviews that said not to place CLUGs in a high traffic area, because the bike can get knocked askew. This is true - but I wouldn't want it to lock onto my bike so hard that damage is caused if I then crash into the bike while walking or carrying something! The CLUGs work perfect in the corner of my room. They also mount very securely to the wall. Would've been a breeze to mount with two people... someone to hold the guide in place. Unfortunately I didn't have help, but it was still manageable. The box comes with an AWESOME guide built right in to help you place your screws into the right spot. I can't imagine not having CLUGs now that I've experienced them! It's such simple storage!! Gives bikes their own space without bumping against anything or tipping and getting damaged. Also, the upright storage position is good for suspension in the forks... GearHooks says it well here: "If the bike is stored vertically on the wall, the forks are tilted backwards. This means that the oil in the forks runs backwards and pools against the foam seals. This keeps the seals properly lubricated and stops them drying out." All in all these CLUGs are one of my favorite purchases ever!

Ich gebe es zu am Anfang war ich skeptisch! Aber, es funktioniert tatsächlich! Kann nur empfehlen!
