Wonderful product wish I had purchased it sooner.

Very surprised by quality. Good selection of colours (but I always want more neutrals), smooth lay down, easy washing. Excellent calibre for a super cheap price.

These are lovely and affordable watercolour pencils. The pigments are bright, and they dissolve well with water. There is a good range of colours in the 48 set-- especially lots of nice greens-- though I will eventually upgrade to the 72 set. They are packaged well and come in a nice tin. Only a couple downsides: there is no pigment or lightfastness information, but that is not surprising for a budget pencil. Also there is no AP stamp, though they do claim to be non-toxic. One star deducted because I got two Carmine Reds, and no Dark Rosewood. This is just a quality control issue. It's not worth it to me to bother returning the box over one pencil, though it is kind of a bummer.

I got this for my mother who loves art as a hobby. She finds the pencils to glide across the paper well, and the colors are absolutely vibrant! Works well with water as well. Highly recommended!
