Best mechanical pencil EVER. Although it's like 7-8 dollars, it's definitely worth it. Honestly compared to buying a rotring pencil, rather get this instead way cheaper and works pretty well. Although I do keep forgetting not to push the led back into the tip. The indicators might be broken or i just dont know how it works, but it definitely writes sharp lines and is very comfortable. WAAAY more than the rotring ones as they are metal and caused a callus on finger. Worse than a pencil would have on it before. Although the pretty blue color could get scratched easily, but same with a lot of other mechanical pencils.

Never owned a mechanical pencil before, but have been really enjoying this brand as its lightweight and you're writing writing remains consistent no matter how much pressure you add to it. Recommend

The pencil was a little lightweight but typical Kuru dependability. Rubberized grip was a big plus.

Tip is always sharp, a little pricey for one pencil but good value as long as you don’t lose it. It is plastic but feels durable enough. The eraser is an afterthought because you need to take the cap off to use it.

feel super cheap in hand... i think it should be about 5 or 6 bucks max. the old kuru adv has better plastic quality and it is like 5 bucks.

I usually like wood case pencils, but it is a pain to carry around sharpeners and the associated mess. This is a fabulous pencil, and works well for writing and for sketching. I have the normal kuru toga also, but this one has a more solid tip feel. Highly recommended, and I think I will get the metal version of this also. But the quality of this is top-notch, I don't feel I need to upgrade (but I'm bougie).

I've actually never liked mechanical pencils, and I know there's some really fancy ones out there... but after trying the Kuru Toga engine, I see zero reason to try anything else. I'd eventually like to try the higher end models, but with the rubberized grip and the minimalist design of the KS, I really have no reason to. I use it specifically for writing, and for me, it's perfect. I now own 4.

個人的に重要視しているのは軽量。しなやかで持ちやすく力を入れなくてもしっかり書けます。 ●本体 重さ約12ｇ：所有するペンの中で軽い部類。 長さ14.5cm：手が大きい方なので持ちやすい。 グリップ：ゴムで滑りにくい。手汗が気になる人にいい。 色：光沢のある質感で落ち着く。 芯：キャップを押すタイプ。先端が持ち手から見やすい。 消しゴム：キャップを開けると中に入っています。 全体的にプラスチックなので重量がほしい持っている気がしないと感じる方は上位クラスのクルトガを検討してみるのもいいです。 ●他 届いたときメーカーさんの包装でキズや汚れの心配なし。写真参照。 ペンの注文の場合、時期により袋の梱包はまだいいほうで、エコを意識してなのかたまに段ボールに本体のまま入っているとペン先が折れないか心配で使用済なのか衛生的にもマイナス評価になりがちですが、本商品は大丈夫でした。 ボールペン主体で使用程度は低いですが、1本は持っていたいペンとしてペンケースに入れてます。

Worked well for a month or so. Then the lead starter breaking within the pencil. Now I get to use half the length of the lead before the rest is just small bits of snapped lead that cannot rotate. I heard Kurotoga is meant for Japanese letters due to Hiragana needing short strokes to write each letter . Hence work well for languages with many curves in letters like English. Seems to be a plausible explanation. Not sure but I wouldn’t recommend for writing in English.

Un lapicero muy útil, la ingeniería de su diseño tiene urbe un mecanismo que hace girar la punta para que continúe, al escribir siempre afilada la mina. Definitivamente una buena compra.
