We purchased an oriental rug, but we needed a quality pad to keep it in place. This product worked perfectly, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality item.

Mohawk rug pads work well with my Mohawk LVP, they grip the rug and the floor so I do not have to continually straighten the rug out on the floor

This rug pad serves the purpose. I have used better quality pads in the past, but I have also paid a whole lot more for those better pads. This pad is relatively light weight, it is not very thick, and this makes it easy to maneuver. If you have a thicker rug, you would probably not notice the thickness, or thinness, of the pad underneath. However, I do feel like the thinner pad is noticeable under a thinner type rug. The pad does do a good job of preventing the rug for slipping on the hardwood, as well as protecting the wood from scratches from trapped dirt and debris. This pad is also very easy to cut-to-size as needed. Overall, I think the pad is a great deal for the price. Just keep in mind what you are hoping to accomplish.

We use it under a 3 x 6 welcome mat at the front door, but the rug can still be moved with your foot.

I have almost fallen over a non slip rug in my entry but with this non slip addition I no longer have a problem.

Doesn't hold my rug in place on my hardwood floors. Rug moves and I'm always putting back in place. I am replacing as I don"t feel safe walking on

We recently installed Pergo laminate flooring. We put down some carpet runners that had a latex backing for non slip. After a week or so we noticed the latex sticking to the floor and leaving a residue. This can lead to permanent discoloration. I sent Pergo an email and they replied that latex and certain rubbers can in fact discolor the floors. She said use only Mohawk brand backings (Mohawk is Pergo's parent company). I've used this product with no problems and the price is very reasonable.

Bought 5x8 for an area rug. It was easy to cut to size and more substantial than others I've bought over the years./
