Nice looking shoes but it’s not a sneaker the sole doesn’t have the cushion needed for rough pavement or long distance walk.

I love these shoes! So versatile. Great for casual work, travel, with shorts, on the boat. Just great! So I got every color!BUT! The color "Kona" is not what it actually looks like in the photo. I was expecting what essentially appears to be in the 'brown' family range. In direct sunlight, it looks closer to brown than it does indoors, which looks like a dark olive green. It sounds strange, but I've tested it in multiple light sources and I've shown other people. In either case, the shoe is not brown like the photo above. I still wear them, but it's hard to figure out what to wear them with if you're conscious of matching your clothes and shoes.

The media could not be loaded. EDIT SEP 2024 : two months with the new model, and the upper edges of the shoe (where you slide your foot inside) are already starting to crack and degrade. This definitely did NOT happen with last year’s shoe. Will upload more pics soon.—————-So I wore the 2023 version of this model Olukai just about every day for the past year. Just replaced them at West Marine.For me, the first thing that happened was I wore a hole through the mesh where my big toes touched the top of the shoe. So they replaced them! And with the new ones I got in July 2023, I immediately reinforced the toe inside with a patch.The next thing to go was the sole at the heel (but it took almost a year).BEST THING ABOUT THESE SHOES: the dark grey mesh hides ALL stains and dirt. I love the look.WORST THING: I would love more *cushioning* (like Skechers, so comfy). I add an insert. I also wish the sole was gray instead of white. WHY DO ALL SHOES AND SNEAKERS HAVE WHITE SOLES?????Edit: Amazon, why is it so hard to upload a video review on the phone? It took 10 minutes!!!
