Bought this for my Nespresso VertuoPlus, no problems delivery as expected from Amazon, but on use they leak. Principle is great but they just don't work. Have returned item.

Great idea for using your own coffee in pods. I have tried other systems but none of them work. This is by far the best way to use in Nespresso machines. You can then use your favourite coffee. Thoroughly recommend. Great price and value for money

This product works great, the lids fit perfect and the Nespresso machine registers the barcode without issue. I knew it wasn't intended to be used with the original aluminium Nespresso pods, but the lids do actually fit them if you take more care to apply them.The only downside is the black pod dispenses less than what is stated in the description, which is why it didn't get 5 stars, apart from that it's great!

I purchased these in the hope that I could avoid the highly priced Nespresso pods. Unfortunately my experience with these has been rather disappointing. Most importantly it produced very weak coffee which is likely due to these pods not having the same technology as Nespresso which allows them to produce good tasting coffee quickly. Secondly I wondered why they were making very small cups of coffee (even the larger one) only to coffee was somehow leaking out the back into the used pod holder.Personally I’d rather go back to using a French press and do without these and the machine which is what I’ve done.

Great idea and easy to use, saves money on the expensive individual pods and use any ground coffee you like👍

I followed the instructions as per the video. I used the 250ml capsule and got around 190ml of coffee on my first brew. The second brew I literally got 30 ml in the cup, the rest went into the machine and all over the work surface.Not very good. I will try again later and if I get another spillover I will be seeking a refund and I will amend my review

Did not work on my virtuo machine

The pods clearly aren’t the same as they have no rim. When I used these it leaked through my machine. However the foil tops work great when used on an actual nesspesso pod so I’d say anyone looking at these just cut the top off an old pod, wash it out and buy the foil lids and some nice big bag of coffee.
