Excellent unit with ability to expand for many needs.
I love (almost) everything about this BLUETTI power station. I purchased it to be able to charge my many batteries for landscaping and lawn mowing. I needed a power source to charge 2 batteries at the same time, but did not want to come short, so chose more than double the capacity, which was a blessing, because now I can charge 4 Stihl Ap batteries at the same time. I later added a 350w solar panel, which was completely inadequate for my needs, so I mainly charged the power station via grid. This is a fantastic system, because it manages very well the power going through for a needed power source and then it charges the internal battery with the extra power that it draws off the grid. I used it all summer and then bought an extension battery. Although I could not be happier with all the components, the connecting cable is way too short and even when I bought the recommended cable which is a little longer, the components would only stack with the battery front side pointing to the back. After this incident, I re-located the power station into my fish room shed, where there was a little more room to stack the 2 components in an l- shaped configuration, the only way that the longer cable would be long enough!!! Now I am actually using a different function of the the power station, that I had no real use for in the car: I set up the peak and off peak feature, so that the batteries discharge during on-peak and it recharge during off-peak, so that I only pay the off peak rate. The solar panel got permanently installed, so I get whatever light there is. Unfortunately we are quite shaded and strangely enough the maximum peak of the 350w panel has only been 260w at full sunlight in the off season. Would I recommend this power station to others? Absolutely!!!!! Every time. What you get for the price is pretty amazing and hard to beat. Now if you plan to add expansion batteries, I would recommend the Apex 300, because it has the ports on the corresponding side and stacks beautifully, But as a stand-alone and off-grid vacation and even a tiny house or a shed, absolutely go with the AC200l. It is built super well and the app is extremely useful and has many more features, that you can not access simply by the unit. If you have good WiFi, you can check on the status anywhere and make changes. Just don’t turn the unit off when you are away, because to turn it on again, you need to push the physical button. This unit is excellent for construction work and landscaping and minor emergency situations. The included battery safe charger is excellent if you are on the road a lot. I only went up to 200 w charge on my pickup, but I believe with changing the setting, you could go up to 450w, depending on your vehicle’s alternator. Now go order a unit for yourself. The price dropped a little since I bought mine. You will not regret this purchase. I actually chose BLUETTI , this was long before I discovered all the useful purposes, to be able to build up an expandable system, that maybe covering all my electricity needs one day, without putting out a whole lot of money in the beginning and in the process of expanding, to really learn what I need and what components I might not need at the time. So my personal power system is growing with my needs and available spending money!

A solid, sturdy unit with lots of power and options
I bought this model and the BLUETTI Elite 200 V2 as well. This model is much bigger in size and a little heavier too. It's a sturdy unit! It has lots of options, expandability, and so far reliability I can depend on (already had my first power outage). The only oddity about this unit is the proprietary power adapter for AC charging. I'm guessing that's because they want a solid connection for best and safest charging scenarios.

Bluetti outshines the competition!
I conducted a considerable amount of research on solar power stations prior to selecting Bluetti. After reading dozens of glowing reviews, I chose Bluetti. I could not possibly be any happier with my purchase. I purchased the Bluetti AC200L along with two B300 expansion batteries, for a massive 8,192Wh of power. My set-up is primarily used for emergency power back-up during power outages for my home. I was able to connect my AC200L with the 30 amp outlet directly to my manual transfer switch and then power selected circuits in my home. I can power my home security camera system, my LG OLED 64" TV, my Govee TV backlight, my Amazon Echo Show, two 150 watt equivalent lamps in my living room, two kitchen lamps, a full size refrigerator, a mini fridge, a freezer, a modem, a router, my main Tivo and mini Tivo DVR, a Lava Lamp, a neon clock, and charging my tablet and phone, all at the same time for an approximate run-time of 10 hours. I have a fuel efficient Westinghouse inverter generator set-up in my shed, which purrs like a kitten, vented with a wall fan, hardwired to my home via the transfer switch. I have the ability to turbo charge the Bluetti with the inverter generator rapidly, and then shut down the generator, and run my house circuits with Bluetti power seamlessly for around 10 hours. With this set-up, in the event of a power grid failure, in theory, I could power my house for at least 10 hours daily for over 5 months, using only 30 gallons of gas to run the inverter generator just long enough to charge the Bluetti AC200L and expansion batteries. I hope to eventually also add solar panels, which would add a new dimension to my set-up. Bluetti customer service has also been amazing! Bluetti is a premium product. With a 5-year warranty, and 10 years + battery life, what's not to love? We recently experienced a global IT outage, affecting millions across this earth, the biggest in recorded history, and with extreme weather events also on the horizon, the power grid is quite vulnerable. The Bluetti AC200L can even be monitored via an app with both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Even with no Wi-Fi, the app will connect via Bluetooth to the AC200L. How cool is that? Few products are life changing, although Bluetti is one that is. Thank you Amazon and Bluetti!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Powerful and Reliable for RV Use – Great Test Results
I recently purchased the BLUETTI AC200L and connected it to my RV for a test run. I was able to power my Coleman Mach15 18,000 BTU air conditioner (with a soft start installed) with no issues at all. The AC200L handled the load smoothly and gave me about 2 hours of runtime, which exceeded my expectations for a portable unit of this size. To be clear, my intention was just to test its limits—and it passed with flying colors. In the real world, I plan to connect solar to it (around 1200 watts) and use it to run my smaller 5,000 BTU AC while boondocking. I’m confident this setup will be more than enough for my off-grid needs. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add flexible, high-capacity power to their RV or off-grid setup!

Excellent Power Station with Some Proprietary Quirks
Overall, I'm very pleased with the Bluetti AC200L Portable Power Station ( "Solar Generator" ). It works as expected and has been reliable for the past few months. I purchased the Bluetti B300K battery as well and that added another 2764.8 Wh of capacity. Installation was simply plug and play with no setup required. However, the provided cable is quite short and due to the location of the expansion ports the battery needs to be placed on the left side of the AC200L and not stacked unless the battery is turned around backwards. This is a very odd engineering and design choice. The system with added B300K battery takes up much more shelf space than anticipated. Another quirky design decision is the omission of a 30amp 12V outlet. The older AC200Max has a 12VDC 30 amp port. This was replaced by a 48VDC proprietary outlet that requires the purchase of a Bluetti D40 DC to DC converter ($199 approx). The 12VDC port on the AC200L is limited to only 10Amps. I see no logical reason to need to spend the additional money to get a high power 12VDC source. I simply wired a nearby battery or this purpose . . . I refuse to buy an expensive proprietary add-on device to connect a high power 12VDC appliance. The 48VDC port cannot be used without the D40. The use of Aviation style plugs for AC power and solar inputs is another unnecessary use of proprietary connectors. To attach solar panels to the AC200L you need to use the included adapters from MC4 connectors to ST60 connectors and another adapter from ST60 to the proprietary aviation plug are needed. A simpler approach would be to have MC4 inputs directly on the AC200L, avoiding all these adapters. These are distractors from the overall quality and utility of the unit. The Android app connections via both Bluetooth and WiFi have worked flawlessly. I can easily monitor and change setting remotely via WiFi. The connection has been stable with no connection issues for weeks at a time and provides access to all settings and useful energy usage data. One omission to the remote data is the time remaining information that is present on the front panel screen. Why this was omitted is unclear and seems like an easy to add feature. Bluetti has a full line of power stations with similar product numbering and names. This was a bit confusing when shopping and selecting the correct product for my needs. Not all similarly numbered products have the same expansion and connectivity options.

Excellent product.
We use this to power our cabinet depth full size fridge during power outages. We have about 600W of solar panels attached to this and it is able to run our fridge for about 5 days continuously. If we shut it down for a few hours at night, then we could probably get 10 days of running the fridge out of this. Lots of ports and functions and the app is great. While we store it most of the year, the batteries are usualy still full when we pull it out. Highly recommended.

So far, its a great power station
So far, this unit has been trouble free. I like the connectivity features, and expand-ability. I tested it with my 100W solar panel, which fed it 19VDC at 90ish watts. It charged the battery 10 % in about an hour and a half. That's not terrible considering it is only 100W. I previously had a AC180 which I sold, this is a much more solid choice. Its heavier, and bigger but offers double the WH. Worth it.

Great generator!
Outstanding so far. Good power and easy to use. Like the fact it has a high solar voltage input so I can run my panels in series as they weren't getting as much parallel. Might by another if the price drops even more.
