Nice, but a few disappointments.
Nice gift for my 10-year old granddaughter. But, due to the graphics on the packaging it didn't occur to us that we had to buy the t-shirt separately until after I gave it to her. We were very disappointed that the red marker which was going to be a prominent color in her design didn't work at all. It was completely dried up. The templates and design booklet for drawing and practicing are great!

Don't Bother...
I had high hopes for this set - as a kid 20+ years ago we bedazzled everything & had a great time doing it. As I got older, I found permanent ink drawing on fabric - also fun. I was hoping my daughter would have the same fun - but what a bomb... The "jewels" don't fit into the tool for applying them, so I had to do each by hand (my daughter gave up). After the first washing, half fell out & the rest are RUSTING on the shirt! As for the fabric markers - what a joke, really. Our non-washable Crayola markers do a better job of staying on! My daughter will be so disappointed to see her shirt - nearly all of her hard work has disappeared in the wash (gentle cycle and gentle soap!). Don't waste your money - just go to the craft store and get some REAL fabric markers & jewel/stud kits - much less disappointing!

This is a fun craft that we enjoy but it doesnt seem like the templates fit right. They are way to big if you put them in the way the directions say. We ended up cutting them to fit the opening and then using painters tape to seal the edges so the paint doesn't seep through. Not sure how to improve the toy so we still like it but would not likely buy it as a gift.

My 8-year old daughter could not wait to try this out, but was very disappointed. The markers were dried out (they did not work, making her frustrated), and the materials included were not worth the price. No fabric paint or T-shirts are included, and the number of gems and studs are paltry, barely enough to create one simple design. The designs of the stencils and letters are cute, but easy to tear when punching them out of the thin cardboard. You would do better to buy similar materials at a craft store and build your own "kit."
